Realistic expectations for new coach.

Judging by the immediate reaction on messageboards, Facebook and Twitter, he isn't long for the position. Seats will be filled, but by opposing fanbases.

 

I can't see how it will go, but if You can, I suggest making big bets this season, and raking in the money.
I will just let it play out, and see. Either way, it's no sweat off my back.
I tried telling people they didn't know how the people running the show would do now. They have never hired a HC before. All the past HC, Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin were decided by people that are dead.

 

I don't gamble. Art II was was apart of the process during the Cowher and Tomlin hires though, just like Dan III was apart of this process. He might not have been the loudest voice, but he had some say during both of those processes.

 

Being a watching son, giving advice, and being the final decision maker is two wholly different things.
As we can see , this is totally out of how they've done it when his dad was still alive , and actually calling the final shots.

 

For sure. But it's quite apparent that he wasn't paying attention to this process his father and grandfather did and felt like taking naps was more important.
