To me Khan does it again. This is another over the hill WR #2 pickup. Funny, the first thing John Harbaugh did after becoming the head coach as the Giants was to fire the Asst. GM who had been there for 30 years. Can someone fire Khan now!!!

Also Please can someone tell all the media that Mike McCarthy did not draft Aaron Rodgers, or Dak Prescott!!! Tired of people trying to link the Steelers drafting a QB in the 1st round to Mike McCarthy's hiring.

Happy to wait in line for the Dumb Ass button.

Also just learned that there are more "pages" under the emoji tab...so I guess I'm deserving of the Dumb Ass when it comes out (likely for many reasons)!

I am Ok with the hiring as long as giving up 3rd and long conversion on defense improves. If he retains Teryl Austin as Defensive Coordinator, then I will puke. His Offense uses middle of the field. I don't know if keeping Arthur Smith would be a good thing. As long as they use middle of the field more on offense, I guess I am OK. I always had problem with Tomlin's defenses during playoff time. It seems mediocre but accurate pocket passers like Flacco could always shred his defense at will.

Let's get one thing straight right out of the gate. Whoever the Steelers hired wasn't going to make me stop cheering for the Steelers.

I don't like the hire for several reasons, with age being one of them and the fear that he will try to run the whole thing back with a 43 year old quarterback that may rupture his other achilles tendon or something else on his body answering his phone.

There was a time when Mike McCarthy was a fine coach. He has a good offensive mind and he has shown that he can develop quarterbacks.

What we don't know is if McCarthy is going to be the acting head coach and offensive coordinator. I would hope that McCarthy is more the CEO and is willing to hire a fresh offensive mind to run the offense. If so, it can work.

If he brings back Rodgers and is calling plays with all his good ol' boys from Green Bay, I don't think it will work.

Since we don't know the parameters of the hire and the role he is going to play, I will reserve judgement on how this is going to go. As always, I will be cheering like crazy that he hits it out of the park.

At the very least if anyone can get the QB position right it’s MM. I think he’ll take a very long look at Will Howard. Also, let’s keep in mind the man got 12 wins outta Dak and that Dallas offense three times to my utter astonishment. IMO, made lemonade outta lemons.

I try to be a glass half full guy but sometimes the glass has

No official announcement yet. Last week it was reported that McDaniels was hired as the Chargers OC but that has become official yet either.

So Im going to hope that this one doesnt either.

IMG_1390.jpeg Good thing I got my “in mourning” black Steelers hat yesterday.
    This is a terrible day.

Steelers will be losers for a few years now.

can’t wait to see the iconic photo of McCarthy frozen on the sidelines.

That is the one positive I will try and take from this is if they ink McCarthy to a deal that maybe he can develop Howard or draft pick, whichever way they go.

Are you having flashbacks to when Russ Grimm was announced as the Steelers Head coach? :)

And, that was even before the social media days!

All I can say is....I tried telling people not to go by what the Steelers did before, because none of the past decisions were made by the people running the ship now, but NOoooooo, how many arguments were made everytime I said we don't know how these people that run things now do business???
Well at least You people that wanted a Offensive minded HC got your wish. LoL
