    He showed a lot of promise in camp, hopefully he can make the team this season. Kick Smith to the curb.

    Would save $7M with $3.8M dead cap.

    Rams run a TE heavy offense (3 TE) and Smith was productive under former Rams OC McDaniel

    I think they need a coaching staff before they start jettisoning talent on offense.
