The thing that I think is going to bring Flores over the finish line is the fact that he was a Steelers employee. He has been in the building. The people who worked along side him day in and day out for the time he was here know. Also, Pettine was so vague, offering no specifics... sounds like an envious disgruntled former employee who was not offered a new contract by the Vikings. His vague criticisms may create a lot of clicks and internet chatter but will have little effect from people within the Steelers who have worked with him

 

Funny how Terry turned into Chuck when analyzing ****. Which is a good thing but funny how he hated it at the time and after retirement.

 

Right, its like his interview was a year long. I think and I could be wrong, they want to interview Shula as an acknowledgement of his work as DC. Just to be considered and get an interview to be a head coach is an accomplishment and bolster a coach's credibility

 

Yeah, then obviously skip Flores as HC. IF we're trading picks, it needs to be for the best up'n'coming OC or DC in the league. Not one with some past baggage (can argue over if its valid concerns or not, but its there).
