Or they’ll take Arch and ruin his life instead.

If the Steelers don't reach for a QB in the first round in 2026, they can address another position in the first round and won't have to give up all those picks to move up for a QB.

With Moore out, there is no reason to trade up for a QB. It means Mendoza and Simpson are going to be top 5 picks. Top 10 at worst. The QB's available at the end of the first are Beck and Chambliss, and quite frankly neither are looking to be worth that pick (even if I can concede liking Chambliss a bit). I think we build the team with the draft and address QB via FA. Jones or Willis would be cheap gets. Or we can just roll with Howard/Rudolph for a year. Lots of options.

Arch could pull an Eli though. Worked out for Eli pretty damn well. I would imagine that Arch could use that option.

I will be watching Sam Leavitt at LSU, I believe he will rise up the board quickly.

Ty Simpson will be overdrafted by someone. This crop of QBs is about as thin as Terry Bradshaw’s hair. I hope the Steelers ride with Rudolph for a season and pick a WR.
I think Mendoza is the only real first round talent QB (in most years), and there is zero chance that he drops to the Steelers, unless photographs surface showing him partying in Vegas with Johnny Manziel.

He had some hype when he started out the year really strong. The broken bone in his throwing hand/wrist hurt him badly. He didn’t play as well after that. Gonna need a good season to help his cause.

my two for this years draft with howard here would be sawyer robertson or luke altmyer. chamblis as a 3rd option and i wouldn't be opposed to pavia. i know he's short and all but he's a winner and just keeps amazing your eye's when he plays. he makes things happen.

Robertson, Pavia, and Altmyer will be at the senior bowl 2026. I consider the senior bowl and weekly practices to be a draft change in status for the players. as they can rise ^ or v for the draft.

Here the competition is top notch, the players get a taste of NFL coaching, and the measurements are official.

I look forward to the week of practices and the game.

Taylon Green from Arkansas will play at the Senior Bowl too. 6'6" 240 lbs and super athletic. He could rise up the draft boards with a good showing.

the only bad part is the curse of the 6-6 qb's. none have ever made much of an impact. funny how that one inch has made a difference.
