Fans demanding DeMeco Ryans to be fired....

I don’t think anyone is belittling him

Many of us just realize that he was evaluated as a 6th round talent at best and until he proves otherwise he is just that

And so far he hasn’t proven anything one way or another

He will get his chance

He will get his chance to pass Mason on the depth chart at a minimum

 

This is why I want someone that has been around McVey as coach Scheelhaase and Shula are my top two candidates. This is the type of attention to detail that you want in your leader. Hopefully that tenacity rubs off on either of the two guys that we interviewed. He doesn't game plan the perfect "McVey" offense. He game plans the "McVey" offense to beat the opposition. We've "done what we do" for far too long. It would be a breath of fresh air to gameplan a few wins a season.

 

Idk. He played like garbage in this post season, but the previous two post seasons (4 games) he threw for 240 a game on 66% completion percent, 4TD 1INT, and over 100 rating.

I get that it is making an "excuse" but the offense around him was garbage. His #2 WR was out (this seems to be an issue with both Dell and Collins missing a good amount of time), his OL is atrocious, and they can't run the ball. He's not built to be Josh Allen. He's more of the "facilitator" type. It shouldn't be a surprise that he performed better with a healthy Collins and Dell with Noah Brown, Robert Woods, and Stefon Diggs as the other WR's than he did with no Dell and a bunch of rookie WR's.

 

Trying to avoid that.

 

I've seen him belittled many times in here. Just give him a chance. He's got the size and smarts, and runs pretty well. Seems to have a great attitude and had to fight for everything he has achieved.

Sooner or later we have to try for a franchise QB and not these retreads.

Look at the Pats, they had Jones, Zappe, Milroe, and maybe a few others before they got Maye.
