    Honestly? No
If we were to draft a qb in the 3rd
I would prefer Chambliss if he doesn’t win his appeal to play another season in college
    Thoughts?

Allar doesn't have NFL level accuracy. I'm a PSU fan, so that is hard to admit. I would stay away from him.

They have some nice running backs though, I would give both of them a shot.

Dont know much about him but in general I wouldnt be opposed to taking a swing at just about any QB in the 3rd.

Can't believe there are so many Howard votes.

Lots of wish casting here IMO.

Maybe we should see him take a snap in the preseason before anointing him?

    Picked other.

I think there's just as much chance we talk Rodgers into coming back as any of these guys being our QB.

So I wouldn't bet on anyone right now.

Man, who's choosing Rudolph to start in 2026?! I'll be SERIOUSLY disappointed if that's the route we take, when we just CLEANED the coaching room for a fresh start!

I chose Howard just based on the choices. But "Other" is probably the right/better choice. I think there are so many votes for Howard because most would like to end the cycle of using retread QBs. At SOME point SOON, we have to make a choice on who we think the next franchise QB is and give him a chance. We're still in a division with Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. And we're still in a conference with Allen, Mahomes, Maye, Nix and Lawrence.

What the Packers have done with QBs is pretty amazing: Favre -> Rodgers -> Love. And now the cheaters seem to have done it with Brady -> Maye though they did have Jones and Zappe in there.

But the Steelers? Ben -> Pickett, Rudolph, Trubisky, Fields, Wilson, Rodgers. Rodgers may have been the best shot at winning something with a retread. But we need to do a lot better. If they go with Mason in 2026, that would signal a complete rebuild to me, just biding their time until they can figure out a way to draft a franchise QB.

Why not. There would be no pressure for him to succeed based on our 3rd round draft history

I selected Willis because I think he is the best option...however with the GB guys going to Miami, I think he goes there as well.

Just my opinion. I would draft a Qb in the 2nd, or 3rd, and have them compete against Howard, and Mason. Then truly start whomever runs my offense the best.

    Huh?

On Saturday, Beck accidentally disclosed that he doesn't actually take any courses at Miami, having already earned his degree two years earlier while still at Georgia, confirming what was perhaps the most obvious open secret in the modern NIL landscape of college athletics.
"No class. I graduated two years ago," Beck remarked with a grin and a laugh when a reporter inquired whether he had class on Friday, and what his experience as a student had been like this week.

The clip has since blown up online, with many wondering how someone who finished their degree two years ago can still be eligible for college competition. "Not tryna hate or anything, but I don't think someone should be able to play college football if they aren't taking any classes anymore lol they should be forced to go pro or wrap it up and get a job," one person posted on X.

"So uhhh... what are we even doing here, guys? This whole 'college' football thing gets weirder and weirder by the day," wrote another, while a third social media user said: "So this isn't college athletics. This is just a Pro Am league for all sports now."

Is his arm good enough to make you overlook the rest of his game? He's another big project. I'm not saying we shouldn't consider a huge project... but he's pretty clueless back there. He has a cannon and that is about it. If we were going to take a flier in round 3 on a project, I am a bit more excited about Chambliss than I am Allar.

Though, if we sign an offensive HC like Scheelhaase or Kubiak then I would trust their judgement on what QB to take in their system.

Depends on if Rodgers gets the coach he wants.:smiley1: I agree that it’s anybody’s guess at this point in time.

My main concern with Willis is he is only 6'0 tall, an issue especially in the AFC North. I don't want a QB who is getting balls batted down at the line of scrimmage and can't see his receivers. Burrow is 6'4 while Jackson and Sanders are both 6'2.

I like Blast Furnace's suggestion of using a 3rd round pick, look in the MAC, PAC/MW, or lesser conference for someone who has measurables, production, and had to play the position not surrounded by five stars. They can compete with Howard and Mason in camp.

Bringing in another Free Agency QB is basically throwing in the towel on the season and not competing.

We have tried the FA Qbs, and the experiment failed.

We need to see what Howard has and draft someone also.

    If we bring back Arod
This mess might be Rooneys fault all along
    In which case
    My apologies to Mike T
