Question about the current Stadium

I know it's sold out, I am a season ticket holder, I'm well aware.

My point is, between the empty seats in primetime games and the amount of visiting fans the past few seasons....they can't fill the stadium (with Steelers fans). I never said they couldn't sell tickets. Two different things.

 

I usually get to 2 games every season. It's generally pretty difficult for me to see visiting fans. It's 99% Steelers fans every time.

Contrast that with other teams, where the Steelers have made an away game feel like home.

I went to Dublin for the Steelers - Vikings. It was more than 75% Steelers fans there too.

If the Steelers added more seats at Heinz field (yes HEINZ! LOL), they'd sell those out too. And if the product started getting a little better towards the end of seasons, you'd see every seat filled with Steelers fans. But when the weather turns cold and the offense is painful to watch (and the D can't stop the run), that's when you start to see some empty seats.

IMO, they can fill whatever number of seats they could add. But the product has to be better.

 

No I was kid that had to play outside, not in the mall. LoL
