Who are some players playing tonight that you guys are watching? Anybody in particular and a reasonable round they may be taken? Good amount of talent on the field tonight that will be drafted. Just curious, I know some of you are good at this.

    Good Question.

Carson Beck fan here, so I am hoping he can show something tonight to get the Steelers attention; if anyone is home. :)

Carter Smith IOL Indiana round 2
    Pond CB Indiana round 3
    Scott S Miami round 2
    Cooper. Wr Indiana round 2

I'm trying to be realistic to Steeler needs.

Rueben Bain Miami will probably go in top 10 along with OL
    In mid teens

I've seen those names on many mock drafts. I look forward to watching both lines on both teams. I'm captain obvious here but I think some will move up a little and will move down a little just based on this game alone because of quality players facing one another. Also the Sarrat guy interests me along with Cooper.

Indiana has a good bit of talent. They have a couple WR’s to look at. I’m not sure Sarratt is the type of WR I want, but Cooper is. Both are good players. Mendoza at QB possibly. They have a couple good ILB’s and a nice corner in Ponds, though Ponds is tiny so maybe only a slot at the NFL level. Hard to imagine a 5’9’’ 180 lb corner manning up Chase or Jefferson.

Miami has some good pass rushers. Their freshman WR in Toney is explosive. Beck is a QB to watch too. Maybe he can impress enough to skirt into the first round conversation? He has a lot of NFL tools, but he’s a roller coaster. High highs, but he can turn the ball over in bunches. They have a pretty physical RB too. Not sure what year he is, but he’s had a good run the past couple games.

You think Beck makes it into the first round? He definitely has some tools… he’s gotta figure out how to take care of the ball though. 23 picks and 3 fumbles in his last 28 games is concerning.

Unless something goes crazy at the Combine, I have Beck being undervalued and going in the 3rd round, and maybe the second to a QB Needy team.

Funny Fact making it around about Carson Beck... He has never attended a class at the University of Miami. So, no he is not even a student, just their starting QB punching a time clock as an employee.

Carson Beck GPA emerges after Miami QB has not attended class for two years
On Saturday, Beck accidentally disclosed that he doesn't actually take any courses at Miami, having already earned his degree two years earlier while still at Georgia, confirming what was perhaps the most obvious open secret in the modern NIL landscape of college athletics.

"No class. I graduated two years ago," Beck remarked with a grin and a laugh when a reporter inquired whether he had class on Friday, and what his experience as a student had been like this week.

That is actually hilarious. College Football is truly a professional sport hahah

I kinda agree with your evaluation though. I think he's probably a late second or early third round pick to me. Has some tools, but has a lot to clean up too. I think he's probably at least a back up in the league. I don't know that I like him a ton better than Rudolph or Howard, but if he's surrounded with weapons maybe he can learn to be a facilitator.

The big RB Fletcher from Miami who has run for over a hundred yards in all the playoff games is going back to college next season.

He played against Indiana far better than Simpson or Moore and really improved his draft stock during this playoff run. It's too bad that he and the WR weren't on the same page on his last throw.

Mendoza will be 100% the first player drafted this spring there is no debate about that.
