1000%. You have to nail the Head Coach and QB, especially maximizing that salary cap friendly rookie contract. The next most important positions are on the offensive line, if you protect the QB and run the ball, you protect the pricey defense from being worn out 2/3 of the way through the season.

The resurgence in the running game and defense has not diminished the importance of a QB one iota. You need that guy on 3rd down to keep the chains moving with his arm or even his legs.
