Shula strikes me as HC in waiting and knowing that might make lateral move DC for Steelers,

Interesting scenario

Shula makes lateral move as DC, (turns down other opportunities to be Steelers DC, has good connections here)

Flores as HC (but as a back up plan can promote from within a guy like Shula to be ready for HC 2-3 years from now) I dont see Flores faltering, I think we found our guy

 

I don't want Klay Kubiak as the Steelers head coach after tonight's 49ers offensive performance. Yes, Kittle was out, but they still had supposedly more offensive firepower than the Steelers had all season. I know Shanahan runs the offense and calls the plays, but I see guilt by association in this instance. Seattle looks like a dominant team with an above average QB, but SF could not do anything offensively.

False. If the Steelers pick either one of those sunny California coordinators as head coach....we wont win more than 7 games each year for the next 3 years....and maybe not even do that good.

Shula's last 5 games as defensive coordinator gave up 156 points combined....Brian Flores over the last 5 games?....52 points combined but for some reason some of you Steeler fans want Shula....why? Please explain it.
