Time for a Steeler Man Cave

Been in this house since 2017. Haven't felt the urge to recreate the Steeler Man Cave. I do now. It's a new era in Steeler Nation and I am re-energized. Time to get Steeler Gold paint, throw a nice black white gold stripe around the room, put up the Fatheads, helmets, pics and whatnot, and get ready for the draft!

In 2017, my wife said I could remodel the man cave when we won the next playoff game.
It’s her fault.

I don't have a Steeler cave, but I could. The wife and children would not view it favorably. Instead I made a compromise. A Steeler closet, which houses a giant polar bear ( 4 feet long in a seated position ), which is holding a terrible towel under one arm and a Steelers super bowl football from Sports illustrated and the other. ( Super Bowl XL ) He wears an old Levon Kirkland Jersey. And some other stuff. I take him out for big games. He has not been lucky lately We have not won a playoff game in nine years.. but I think things are changing now that Mr. Dark shades and his jokers are gone.


I won the bear at an amusement park by throwing a softball into a vase in 1985 at 15 or so feet. The grand prize winner I was and according to the booth was the first grand prize winner of the Summer in August! Needless to say Bubby Brister could not have thrown it better. Oh -- how I had to refuse many teenage girls that summer who wanted the bear for themselves.
