Will Cam retire/go to another team?

Will TJ ask out to play for a contender? Is it even possible for us to move him based on his contract?

I am certainly hoping we will get rid of J Smith.

The Steelers are going to have to take a financial hit to move him. There's no getting around it. I would suspect if the Steelers move him via trade they have to eat a fairly large portion of his contract.

Can Ramsey be cut to save money? I'm not sure about the financials, but I dont get the sense he will be back next year.

Will we resign Seamulo? Maybe. I think the Steelers would welcome him back on a team friendly contract. It all depends on what his market value is in free agency.


Will we get a chance to resign Gainwell? I hope so. KG will get a lot of looks in FA. But the running back market isn't very high. I think the Steelers can be competitive here.

Will we cut/trade Pat F? Yes. Hes gone IMO.

Cam can be cut. After that he can go to another team. As a man I salute him and hope he can give us a hometown deal on his cap #. 36-37year old and expensive players are seldom part of the rebuilding process. He can still play. 1 more year I say.

Yes, Ramsey can be cut too. But he had value as a playmaing safety. Again I like to see him give us a hometown deal on the cap to stick around. He likely won't. Khan's call.

I think Semuulo is a broken down player. Replace him.

We will get a chance to re-sign Gainwell.

I say maybe we should cut 'Muth, or better yet trade him is possible.

As long as if it’s a defensive minded HC he surrounds himself with quality offensive minds I’m OK with it.

I predict about the exact same turnover in players as we have had almost every year. Maybe one, or two differently.
I don't think people realize how much different there is every year.
Example: From 2024-2025
Wrs room different, Rbs room different, TE room different, OL room different, all DB room different. There is quite a bit change every year, and I don't think it will be much different this year.

But do they want to pay Ramsey $17 million as a diminishing player.

 

Ramsey did play decent as a Nickel but at his price is he worth it? And remember he’s a year older next season.

 

Part of the reason they got rid of Minkah was because his play no longer matched his salary.

 

I think both Cam and TJ will be here and playing for the Steelers next season.


PF is 2 years into his 4 year contract. I believe he will play for the Steelers next season. Expiring contract season maybe he gets moved.


Depending on the new coaching staff, the TEs and RBs rooms may look very different for next season. I'm almost positive the QB room will be very different.


OL is key. I do not think Isaac will be back. If we do pick up BroJo's 5th year option, I think we will move him inside to LG. Lots of really promising OL in this draft.


You don't always have to take your 'biggest need' in the first round. I do think we will add offensive weapons through the draft but not necessarily in the first round.

 

I know I said the 26 QB draft was supposed to be good and I was way off but this 27 draft is almost can’t miss with guys that have to come out!

I don’t see the value in a day 2 QB

Typically that just gets you a backup so may as well keep Mason and get a starter at another position day 2 with that pick
