    Once again
    Throw bank at him
Rather have him as a DC
    Than a HC

I wonder if they will give the head coach a four year window

I disagree. Ben was never known to be a big cerebral X & O's kinda guy. Nor a guy who showed up early and left late and ate and drank film study. He was a gifted athlete, with a great arm, who could will great things to happen, especially when the play broke down. Though I loved him as our QB, I don't really see any head coaching qualities in Ben.

And as others have said, why would he want that grind, making a lot less than he was used to? He doesn't need the money. He'd have to do it for the love of coaching. And he doesn't seem like that kind of guy. I'd be shocked if he showed any interest in it.

A former QB that could probably make his mark in coaching is Peyton Manning. He was a coach on the field and probably knew offenses and defenses better than many coaches. But he seems a lot more interested in Monday night ESPN and commercials.

Roethlisberger was a backyard QB. He wasn't a film junkie. A leader doesn't make questionable decisions in bars with women.

I really don't care who the Steelers hire as head coach-- as long as he does things differently than Mr. non-losing season
