BYE, BYE ineffective and past it's prime! Since we are basically rebuilding!

 

We need a new Battle Cry! Any suggestions?

I've always hated that song anyway, lol. I'll be happy to never hear it again.

 

I love the song and love how it fires up the crowd. But for the past few season, it's been a curse. The other team seems to always score a TD after it's played anymore. I'd be all for changing it up.

Music in the stadium is a bit stale in general. The Pennsylvania polka at the beginning gets on my nerves! LOL. I guess it's good for families but it does nothing to stir up the crowd.

While we're changing things up, how about an upgrade to the audio system at Heinz (er. Acrisure)? The past few stadiums I've been to, including college stadiums, have a much more powerful audio system.

 

A better choice would be "Remodeling" no matches needed! It gets the fans hyped up no doubt! but it was also designed to add a spark/ motivation to the product on the field and as of lately not so much! Very little change occurs afterwards the inevitable happens! Get my drift! Been nice but it's played out! Look on the the field during warm ups pregame and half time players have their headphones on or bumping to the sounds over speaker system to get motivated! Enough said bye, bye Renegade been nice!

 

I don't think you have to get rid of it completely, make it something special again. Make the fans miss it for awhile, then play it only in the biggest moments. Maybe a few times a season.

 

I don't live anywhere close enough to attend the home games. I've never been a big fan of the song, personally. I don't get why a song needs to be played at the start of the 4th in the first place.
I'm talking about the domino effect, if we're replacing this, let's just replace it all, mentality. Focus on the important stuff and stuff like the song will take care of itself.

There was a pre-player-safety-initiative Renegade, and then there was a post-player-safety-initiative Renegade.

The best ones were the old ones where Ryan Clark and Troy were breaking guys in half in the seconday.

 

The old Hee Haw song, "Gloom, Despair and Agony" sure fit on Monday night.

Exactly. Good choice. Maybe use 'Enter Sandman'. 'Blind' by Korn. Something to make you want to run through a brick wall.

Renegade is a song senior citizen bop too while shopping for adult diapers and blood pressure thinners in Dollar General.

Anything but Enter Sandman. That song has been done to death. I'm a VA Tech Hokie fan and they use it for home game intros. Plus, I had to play bass for that damn song in 3 different cover bands throughout the 90's and early 00's. Totally burnt out with Sandman. I'd rather listen to Sweet Home Alabama or Stairway to Heaven which have also been done to death.

Damage Inc, Blackened, Creeping Death, For Whom the Bell Tolls... or Battery are much better choices.

 

Stranglehold but then 1/2 the fans would lose their minds.

 

I wish we would have burned it all down in 2018. I’ll bet our Post season success would have been much better and with a trophy or two.

 

Renegade pre-dates Tomlin. Why are we tossing it?
