Davis Webb but i fear the rats will snatch him

 

Davis Webb has been rising fast as all hell through the ranks!! He is still only the Passing Game Coordinator while also being a QB Coach. That would be quite the hire indeed.


Klint still leads my list. Joe Brady would be next.

 

I'm less concerned with making sure to hire an innovative offensive head coach as I am with finding someone who isn't afraid to let the coordinators do the job and stay out of their way. I don't think that the hot new coordinator is always the right pick. The HC has to be an administrator, a liaison, media expert, leader of coaches, leader of players, communicator, draft expert etc.

I don't need him as the guy who installs the system, calls the plays, coaches the technique. But he does have to be confident enough to find those right guys to do that job...and let them do it.
