Malik Willis in 2026?

    Rudolph is perfect for the back up role for now. Word is Tomlin is taking a year off. So, that means the Steelers will have to wait for draft capital for 2027 when Tomlin likely comes back next year.

    Most important thing is picking the right coach. QB is second but it’s more important to get rid of all the dead weight on the team and really let the coach and GM build the team they need to build for a contender.

    I doubt MW would take that?

    he will be in demand......IMO.

    Is it Will Howard or bust for us? bring in a great young OC HC and QB coach - they are out there......GET TO WORK Khan and Rooney.......

    I don’t think he leaves unless for another head coaching job.

    If the Steelers get a defensive head coach, I wouldn’t mind Mike McCarthy as offensive coordinator. Brian Flores as the defensive coordinator.

    Depends on who we hire. If we're running a Kingsbury system... then yeah, sure. If Monken is the OC, then yeah... If we hire Kubiak, then it would make a lot more sense to bring in someone like Mac Jones via trade.

    Mike McDaniel as an offensive coordinator would work too. I like McDaniel.

    i am not sure 100% - i did not know too much about him till he went to MIA.

    is he a good teacher? I am concerned watching Tua seem to spiral down....

    Ive seen videos of him talking to players, he seems to be an excellent teacher, communicates well.

    Ya, if the Packers decide to go with Harbaugh, I think LaFleur is the guy for sure. Might even keep Rodgers in Pittsburgh for a year. Come to think of it, it’s interesting Rodgers in is post game presser was talking about both so much. Did he know something and campaign for something? Hmmmmm….

    Definitely like him as DC but I dont think you can truly evaluate him as a HC, he ran into problems with management/ownership there.

    My memory is cloudy but I think his overall body of work wasnt bad as HC.
