Thigpen is gonna be there I'm pretty sure and I was thinking that maybe Wardismvp was gonna go too. I've definitely seen a few people that were saying they are going. I bet it would almost be cheaper for you to go to the Super Bowl if we made it wouldn't it? Seems like it would cost a LOT to go to that game with all things considered.

I will be there.... starting from the WEST Coast, no less....should be a great place to see Big Ben.....and that clock thing too (yeah, I know....I'm sure that's REALLY original).

I'm sure it will be a jolly good game....or something! Hope the terrible towel reigns supreme!

The game they selected ticks me off. Living in the midwest I was planning on going with several of my Steeler and Viking friends and make a long weekend of it. And then Goodell in his infinite wisdom picks this game. Hopefully the Steelers pound the Vikes and I am just thankful that we don't lose a home game. That would really make me unhappy.

Not me. It is very hard to find a steak in London. Most eating joints do Curry, if that is the correct spelling. I was only in London a few hours, spent most of my time there in Portsmouth and Plymouth. We got meat at the British Marine Mess hall but not in the towns. Just don't do curry.

I was up at 2AM (West Coast time) when the tickets went on sale at ticketmaster UK. Only thing that has me a bit nervous is they don't guarantee delivery until 5 days before the game. I'm not sure they're catering to the 'overseas' fans....

It's actually very easy to find a steak in London. I can get recommendations if you like.

yeah, that has me worried too (and they only have to toss them over the Channel, not over the friggin ocean, in my case)

we should totally do a little meetup of the guys from this forum, maybe our overlord can create a sticky once the game draws closer?

    Got no tickets anyhow how.

Little tip for guys going. Wednesday nights are ladies night in England. The ladies hit the bars and are looking for a good time, doesn't mean they want to jump in the rack with anyone. Do be respectful to ladies though, please. Most English people are nice toward Americans. Unless you remind them of that little disagreement back in 1775. I got us into a fight over that one once. Marines won that one too.

I honestly have no idea where in England you've been? Wall to wall curry, "ladies nights" and people caring about the War of Independance? Sounds mental, I've been here all my life, 40 years now and never found anything like it.:lol:

If you are going, keep this in mind. They drive on the left, which means you have to be careful crossing the street as a pedestrian, because you will instinctively look the wrong way and walk into traffic.

I spend several weeks a yr in 'left driving' countries and I still get close calls. I drive on the left with no problem, but am in most danger as a pedestrian.

I'd love to go- I've been to London a half dozen times, and it is one of the greatest cities in the world, with tons to see. I am glad to give sight seeing recommendations to anyone who is going.

But, have to miss it due to work, although it looks like I may attend the Jets game as well as the Patriots game.
