Prison Jersey

The Steelers are wearing the throwbacks on Nov 17th against the lions. I just seen it on my facebook feed.

 

WHY?! I thought the ONLY reason they were wearing those monstrosities was for the anniversary year and then we would never speak of them again. Are we just trying to make the lions feel better for sucking so bad???

 

Its just like the other throwbacks a few years back with the different color helmets/etc...they'll still wear them for at least 1 game a year...probably for a few years until the next throwback comes out.

 

I don't like the yellow helmets either but DUDE those throwbacks from last year are HORRIFIC!

 

I actually like them and own a big Ben one

 

To each his own ya know. Actually last year at the Titans debacle I saw a guy wearing one and I told my buddy I was gonna run that guy down and ask him who he lost a bet to. LOL.

 

Same here, I just wasn't crazy about the socks.

 

Yeah the sox are bad but I like the jersey it's different

You just keeeeep digging don't ya??? Ok. Let's try something different. The new jerseys are AWESOME! They are the coolest thing since January 6 1982! All other jerseys kneel before them! They are the Scrooge McDuck's of jerseys!

 

Nah... they still all look like they just escaped from the chain gang....
I could deal with the ones before, with the gold helmets...

Ugh. I do not like the bumblebee jerseys. I LOVED the previous throwbacks, with the gold helmet. I asked a manager at our local fan shop why they switched. His answer: When the NFL went to Nike from Reebok, the Steelers had to come up with a new design, because Reebok had copyright or something on the previous throwbacks. Lame.

 

So instead of calling them throwbacks can we just christen them the "jailbreakers"? Then they will at least sound all hip and edgy. LOL.

 

The jersey alone doesn't bother me too much. It's when they put the whole thing together it gets just plain ugly and should only be watched on a black and white tv.
