Pickett is definitely the biggest Steelers draft bust in the last 10 years. I'd give him another 2 years before he's out of the league.

Kenny should have never been a "bust" as he was overvalued from the beginning in my opinion. I guess my point is when I think of a bust I think of the player not living up to expectations...Kenny shouldn't have had that high of expectations. May not be articulating that very well. LOL

Surely T. Edmunds is on this list. If it was just the Steelers, you'd say bad coaching, but when his best games, and that's not saying much was here, well, thats a bad pick. This 1st round pick can't even keep a job.

It worked out for Pickett though. Pickett got a SB ring out of the deal.

More than one should have made the list.

    2016: Artie Burns
    2019: Devin Bush
    2022: Kenny Pickett

2018: Terrell Edmunds is in a gray area for me. He was picked way over where he should have and was an average to a slightly above average starter.

The Steelers have had more than their share of draft busts in the last 10 years, no doubt about that. Seems like Broderick Jones is heading in that direction as well.

Again, I have a hard time calling Edmunds a bust because if he went in round 3 we would be saying that it was a decent pick for the production we got from him. Hard to name Edmunds since he didn't pick himself in round 1.

As far as Jones goes...he started to turn a corner then was injured. I tend to not label people busts due to injury.

I'm not labeling Jones a bust just yet, but there's no doubt about it that the Steelers offensive line have been playing better without him.

Sounds like you are blaming the Steelers for him being a bust? That's a twist.

When you consider the trade up cost and that he might not be a starter for long, then that is definitely bustage territory.

They need to make kids' table Super Bowl rings for some players.

I can hear him lying to his grandchildren years from now about how he earned it.

I know it's not 10 years but a lot think Tomlin is a bust so now we can get John Harbaugh.

    I'm just goofing.

I think more of what I'm saying is that he shouldn't be included as a top 10 biggest draft busts of the last decade as it is not all that shocking that he didn't pan out.

Devin Bush, Kenny Pickett, Artie Burns, Terrell Edmunds.

Basically none played to their draft position although Edmunds was at least serviceable.

I think Lamar Jackson would have looked better in a Steeler Jersey than Edmunds that's all i'm saying.

I seriously doubt any professional player would consider THAT "working out".

Like I said, the Steelers did a good job selling a story and quite a few folks here were suckered into believing it!

Kenny is a bust because he is so bad that he would be considered a bust if he was taken in round 7.

Don't disagree...but not sure I would put him in the top 10 in the last decade.

Pickett for sure. Big reach and then gave up on a 1st rd pick after 2 years.

Go back a little further and crown JaMarcus Russell as the biggest bust in the last 50 years. He was so bad he only cared about his first contract and just mailed it in.

The NFL changed how rookies were paid because he was so lazy and put the Raiders so far behind that veterans finally got better contracts years after the NFL stopped competing with the AFL and WFL.
