I think its closer to an 8 for me due to the leadership in the locker room. He had really good numbers with a not great cast of WR's outside of DK. His backs and TE's did relatively well, but the WR room outside of DK sucked.

10-6, good TD-INT ratio, had very few "bad" games overall... I liked what I saw from him, and at his age we couldn't have asked for a whole lot more.

Rodgers has done very well for me. There were a couple of games where it didn’t look so good, but his receiving corp is probably a bottom 5 unit and it took the Oline until the second half of the season to get it together.

I don’t know what the plan for next year is, but if he is staying they need to get him at least one more NFL starter level receiver in free agency.

I was pissed when I knew he was going to be a Steeler. Never liked him.

Now I'm happy it happened cause he gave us a season.

Little worried about 2026 season at the QB position.

he did well with what he had around him. my only concern was if it's one and done and we waste what we have here already. i wouldn't mind him back for one more. his mind works fast. the arm is still there. would love to see him with Gruden as our OC. the brain power and understanding of the game would be amazing. not sure if the rest of the offense would keep up. would need to sign another vet WR.

Rodgers has been say a top 14-18 type of QB in the NFL.

I give him a 6.5 out of 10 on the season.

He ran hot and cold. But considering what he had to work with in a few games you have to give him some props. And also consider what higher rated QBs might have done if they were the Steelers QB this season, e.g. Burrow, Allen, Mahomes. Overall, a 6 is about right for Rodgers.

The thing that bothered me was when he would rather throw the ball away so quickly and he wouldnt wait or try to find another option because he didnt want to get hit. I completely get that sentiment as even in my playing days I noticed the ground seemed to have gotten harder after 40. However based on all this I think he did very well considering what we have as WR's and OL. That being said, his experience and knowledge was crucial to us winning many close games, for that reason I will give him an 8.2

He did better than I had hoped for, but not as well as I would have liked.

I did not read through any posts except the OP, not an easy task.

    Rogers is 42.
What really did I expect from a 42-year-old QB? Not a lot. I figured maybe 5 games and either an injury or Howard or Mason would take over.

But Rogers has been a wonderful surprise.
No, I wouldn't classify his as the best ever but I do put him in the Hall of Fame.
ages 22- 36 Rogers was spectacular at extending plays forever and tossing long touchdown passes to WR's named Driver.
Sometimes it looked as if he had time to read War and Peace before looking for receivers.

Rogers at 41-42 is not as mobile and fast as he one was but his smarts have replaced those traits.
Watching him the first day of camp, it was REAL apparent that he was bringing that extra something to Pittsburgh.
It only got better as the season wore on, those extra practices with receivers, the development of the silent audibles, so much more.
Never mind that the idiot front office gave him a head case and a bunch of blue-light specials from the discount shelf at K-Mart to work with.
He threw for 3,322 yards and 24TD's, he could have easily done better with better receivers.

I give him a solid A despite age and the limitations he's had to deal with.
Though I don't know if he should go another year... I think this should be it for him.
I will definitely hate seeing him disappear down that tunnel, the same way I hated seeing Peyton Manning make that last walk.

You have to start to wonder if any of the current crop of QBs will join the 40 yr club. Stafford has a shot but he's still got a few years to go. No way Burrow gets there with his injury history, Mahomes is getting beat up as well. The way Josh Allen plays I can't see him playing at that age.

7--- for me he was really good at times then missed other times..sometimes off with his throws --sometimes not going to the right WR.sometimes not using his brain and calling needless time outs--But when he was on target -:yeehaw::yeehaw::yeehaw::yeehaw: awesome.:herewego!::herewego!::herewego!::herewego!::herewego!::herewego!:

At times Rodgers has looked washed, but he finished the season strong unlike Russell Wilson last year.

Well with the way they have changed the rules will save some of them. But if You just take that crop of Qb you mentioned , just back to the 90s rules, they may already be out of Football. Another reason I'm not a fan of the running Qb. Even with the rules of today, they will not be playing as long as Rodgers, Flacco, Ben, Brady, and so on.

Playing within the confines that is Mike Tomlin he gets a high grade.

I'm under the belief he was requested to take very few chances, use the side lines, throw ball away and lean on defense.

Can't convince me a QB of his pedigree would neglect the middle of field. I do agree he didn't want to get hit - it's no coincidence Cook coming in changed ARods comfort level. Browns game aside

    8 of 10.

I'm not sure how I can grade him anything less for the regular season. He won the division. The only way he could have got the 10 of 10 was by being the #1 seed.

Requested to take very few chances.....take chances with who? His lack of weapons was the issue here.

Use the side lines....he threw a good bit over the middle this year.

Throw the ball away.....yes, please, do that more. better than taking a sack.

Lean on defense....yes, please, at 40+ you should

Yep to all that. The best part is the level he is at right now. He looks eager to win and has life in his old bones.

Considering his age, I would rate him a B- for the whole season.

Rodgers at 42 is 13 years older than Josh Allen who at 29 is the second oldest QB in the AFC playoffs.
