I think that was in response to the fire Tomlin chants at the Buffalo game.

The Steelers broke the Ravens, so they had to fire their HC :hehehe:.

He’s correct. This is only the first step. Getting that elusive playoff win is our next step and so on. We’re not the Browns. Beating a division rival is not our Super Bowl

Only quote I heard from Muth was something along the line of "F*** the Ravens". Twice.

NFL Network reported that Harbaugh had started to lose the locker room, good for the Steelers the crop of HC candidates this year is weak for the Browns and Ravens to hire.

I think Tomlin leaves Pittsburgh after this season for a different NFL job. He will be very sought after with so many openings and some team will break the bank for him. If he wins a playoff game his price goes up. Wins another and it doubles. Wins the SB and he will be the highest paid coach ever in the NFL. That’s a big mountain to climb but I feel he goes after this season whether he wins in the playoffs or not. He has so many players that love to play for him that FA will be whomever he wants. I wanted him gone and I still do but would like to see complete success first. His time with the Steelers has grown stale but the players love him. I think trades may take place in order to grab him. Like I said there are ample opportunities and he may seek them. JMO.

Best thing to happen to us is that the Ravens fired Harbaugh. I hate the guy, but he was a good HC.
Lots of HCs can win a couple of years. Not many can do it year in and year out. Also without Harbaugh, there may not be a Lamar Jackson , not everyone throws away how they do football for a new Qb. This can very easily turn sideways.

I wonder if the Steelers would never let Tomlin go if there was ANY chance on earth that he could go to the Ravens?

Well, obviously he would be more excited right after the game on the field as opposed to an interview a few days later .

All very good and valid points. I agree. I would also add I see Rodgers coming back only if MT is coaching. Sometimes a change is as good as a rest and like you I would like to see him move on.

If the Steelers lose on Monday, there's a strong possibility that Tomlin would be gone on Tuesday. Can you imagine the Ravens hiring Tomlin, and then the Steelers hiring Harbaugh...lol

I think the world would explode along with a few heads

I would reconsider my fandom if we hire Harbaugh. Either of them.

The Ravens still owe Harbaugh 3 years more of getting paid. He can take his time picking the job he really likes.

Nah, he wouldn't let something like that out to the team... I would imagine it just had to do with the "fire Tomlin" stuff earlier in the year. Things have been good since then, so maybe it was needed.

The Ravens were the pre-season favorite to win the Superbowl this year. Not making the playoffs and finishing with a losing record will get a coach fired when expectations are that high. Plus the Ravens under Harbaugh are known for finding mind blowing ways to lose games and blowing big leads. He had to go.

Shocked about Harbaugh. Doesn't seem real.

Glad he and Stefanski are gone.
