    1. future franchise QB (don't think there will be one)
    2. WR (need someone to complement DK)
    3. DL (successor to Cam Heyward and Keeanu Benton)
    4. CB/Safety (need more young DBs with speed)

    1 QB, 2 WRs, 2 DLs and 3 DBs in 2026 draft

K.C. Concepcion from Texas A&M would likely be among the top players for Pittsburgh to look out for. Germaine Bernard from Alabama is another though I don't consider him First Round worthy. Zachariah Branch from Georgia is another while Antonio Williams also isn't too shabby.

As for IDL?! Kayden McDonald would be about the only one worth selecting in Round One. Kayden is the second best NT in the class and does have some upside as a pass rusher though not nearly as much as Peter Woods; my personal dream target for Pittsburgh. As for later rounds?! Dominique Orange from Iowa State or Dontay Coreloene from the University of Cincinnati would be solid additions. A'Mauri Washington would fit this bill as well though he will get drafted higher than where Pittsburgh will be able to nab him; the top of Round 2 being his most likely outcome.

Corner and Safety are both needs for certain. Of the two?! Safety likely gets the nod for me. Dillon Thieneman from Oregon would be a great start and Micheal Taffe from Texas also wouldn't be too bad. Emmanuel McNeil-Warren is a multi role safety who can play some MOF but is mainly a traffic cop; big hits being his specialty. Zakee Wheatley from Penn State is more of a box safety but he does have some solid range and is more than toolsy enough to handle other tasks.

Some of my picks. I wouldn't rule out IOL either.

bud clark from TCU is also a very good safety. with castro in place for the future at SS, im looking for that FS to eventually replace ramsey. clark could be that guy. there are a few. maybe caleb downs drops like a rock for some unknown reason and falls into our laps. yea right.

Caleb Downs dropping that far?! As you said, a man can dream. Gonna have to dig a bit more into Bud Clark. Haven't seen too much TCU Football.
