I’m amazed at the amount of people propping up Stefanski.

I think Kelly is being a bit harsh. Mendoza will need to be in the right system, with a solid supporting cast. No doubt about it. However he definitely operates well within his structure and shows up for the big games (at least so far). He has intangibles. 4th round is pretty harsh, but if he goes top 10 to a lousy team I can see him flopping out of the gate.

This is one of the big reasons the Browns will never do well. They expect every new HC, of which there have been many over the last 25 years, to get a championship within a year or two. They've been as bad with QBs.

They don't understand the concept of building a team and allowing a new coach and new QB to grow together, so they fire the new coach before he's had time to become what he could be. They switch starting QBs before the new QB can grow into what he can be. Not that every one of them would have been great, but none, QB or HC, were ever really given a chance to turn things around. When you're that bad, real change is going to take more than a year or two, and the Browns want instant gratification.

Does it look like Tua is done there? I know they were getting Ewers playing time at the end of the season but don’t now if they think he is the answer. Not a great QB class either.

Yes, it does looks like he's done. . Fans believe he is 'shot' since the concussions, and that his body is breaking down. He's not really mobile anymore.

His record is what it is but the guy was in a bad situation that he willingly signed up for. He was a run heavy OC that took a team that looked like it was going to be a run heavy powerhouse. Then they drafted Baker and went out and spent huge money to get wr's. Never understood why you hire the run heavy guy and then draft for a passing first offense.

He didn't play well but his last 2 games he had wins over Aaron Rodgers and Joe Burrow.

But the narrative is that they are a much better run organization right? I mean George Pickens said it was better. No way George Pickens lies to us. The Cowboys are great, not making up lies about them fake media.

Whew got that one off my chest before that 800lb gorilla crushed me.

George and his 7-9-1 teammates can watch the Steelers in the playoffs.

I would not be shocked if Haslam hires Deion as HC and roll with Shedeur as the QB. It’s Jimmy Haslam.

BTW. If Raheem Morris doesn’t get a HC position elsewhere, bring him in to replace Austin

Sources: John Harbaugh is out as the Ravens head coach.

Yep they just announced that on Fox Sports. I wonder if Stefansky will stay in the division and be hired by the Ravens.

Interesting. I think he clashed with the QB. Plus he is a bit long in the tooth now.

Harbaugh had a great career in Baltimore but it was the time like it was for Carroll and Belichick after 2023

Its time for Tomlin to leave as well but Roonie and himself won't admit it

At least the Ravens had the stones to say good enough is not good enough. I'm sure he could use a change of scenery too.

He'll be the Browns coach by Friday...

I want nothing more than a Steeler victory Monday night but have to wonder if they are one and done again, does all these firings make it more likely Rooney follows suit or make him dig in more.

I feel we will beat the Texans though, think our drought ends which would probably trigger an extension for Tomlin.
