I was extremely happy to not hear any injuries after the Ravens game.

To your second point, I think it is equally important for Frazier and our guards to have great games. We can somewhat neutralize their dynamic edge rushers if we can get the inside running game rolling.

Funny you bring that up. Today in history Jan 6, 1994 is the day that occurred.

That OC is gone though and their OL is worse.

    1. Constant pressure on Stroud
    2. Create turnovers
    3. Keep Rodgers upright

As a DC I would use the fire X and A gap blitzes but change the stunts up front ..Don't let the tape show what we are doing . Get tighter on outside eligibles as giving cushion and running free is not working. Basically disrupt the timing without the OL and QB knowing exactly how it's going to happen. They have no Henry so I believe we can stunt and blitz and press and a much higher rate.

I’m usually pessimistic with them lately and obviously Tomlin and the team have been horrible in the WC games recently but I feel better about this one. I predicted a 20-10 loss but a big turnover or play and this could be a close game.

This is not the game for the Steelers to make dumb mistakes. Rodgers doesn't turn the ball over often, but we can't have fumbles giving Stroud short fields, killer penalties, or bone-headed special teams plays that pin the offense.

I'm kinda like you on this game and I dont know how or why. Houston is on a 9 game win streak and has beaten 4 teams in the playoffs while we've only beat one. Steelers have given up about a 1000 more yards than they gained and still made it. Maybe just feel like luck will be on our side in this one and we are definitely going to need some.

Or wide open receivers due to communication breakdowns in the secondary. That was pitiful Sunday night I realize we were worried about Henry.

At home in the colder weather and the Houston offense is average at best. We can play with them just not sure we can drive the field to score. Going to need some bounces.

The Texans gave up 30 points to the Colts rookie QB last Sunday; they can be beat throwing it deep.

I don’t think the Texans were playing serious that game and pulled starters due to Jax killing the Titans.

Protect Rodgers. Steelers do that, Rodgers will shred their defense.

So pressure the middle and make them rolll the pocket ,I be looping the pocket driving the QB towards the inside blitzes .No reason to play fair or scared as I call it...Attack and then Attack some more. Play to win not to survive. Let's get this game with authority it means things as we move forward. .. b9b61cab2d31338aac181fe00b853abb&hvocijid

Go three and out to keep their defense off the field. Sack Stroud for a safety and win the game 2-0.

Colts score 20 of those points before halftime and the Texans pulling starters
