I know what you’re saying but he has missed a kick in 3 straight. If he lines up for a 55 yard GW I’m not feeling as confident as normally with him.

Im confident enough in his ability that I would bet your money for you. So when can I expect that? I'm overflowing with confidence. I'd bet @Blast Furnace@Blast Furnace's money too and anyone else's money that they would be willing to send me. Im confident I could bet it for them.

Doesnt look tipped. Maybe the cold weather? Guess it could be ball placement too.

I have seen others suggest that, but I'm not buying it. If he makes the field goal, they need three to tie. Maybe they take one more shot at the end zone after Likely's catch, but they still wouldn't have needed a touchdown.

the kick coverage was excellent up until the last one and Warren had a couple nice runbacks. for this game though I'll take the bad coverage on the last kick off - it was fitting for the game and helped make the ending better.

Didn't he hit a 57 yarder a few weeks back then missed a easier one later in the game???
We have been using him less, and less the last 7 or so games. Is there a reason why, or is that the reason why he has become so iffy? You know not as much reps. For instance a lot of good Kickers, and punters are guys that do it a lot in games. How many times have we went for it this year that in any other year we would have kicked a field goal??? I'm not saying, I'm Just wondering.

Yeah the one in Detroit was bad... The one in Cleveland was at least a long one, but still. Getting it blocked isn't necessarily his fault though and the XP last week was his second kick this year that has been blocked.

Funny you say that because during their three game win streak they were scoring TD’s and he wasnt getting any use and I was thinking he could get rusty lo and behold, hes missed a couple kicks.

During their losing streak, he was getting a ton of use. So yeah I think there is something to your theory.

even if the finger does not touch the ball, the wind off of the finger can make a ball behave wicked.

It’s been officially ruled a block so it would make sense the NFL would have conclusive evidence of that.

I welcome that, much better than just shanking an extra point. Boz is fine.

Wasn't that the same side of the field that Loop missed?

It must have been slippery on that side of the field...that DB also slipped when Austin got the TD at the end there.

Hint - All 3 occurred late in the 4th Qtr. I originally thought the same thing until I replayed the sequencing and timing of each. ;)

Doesn't look like it was tipped to me. The ball was going straight up the middle of the goal post after it cleared #39 of the Ravens, the ball suddenly changed directions out of nowhere and missed way to the right. No wind, so it was just a very strange miss that defied physics.

A subtle touch and change in rotation can do that and make the ball move in strange ways.

Once again the NFL has studied the kick and has officially determined that the ball was tipped. It officially goes into the books as a blocked kick.

I don’t think it was tipped but thanks for the look. I’ve seen this projectory before with my 9 iron at about 125 yards on a par 3……
