I'd take Rex Ryan before him

I actually like the upside of both players. Ward and Dart were in bad situations.

Ward started showing signs of growth as the season went along and ended the year showing off some of his abilities.

Dart played very well for a rookie quarterback with Daboll as his coach. Dart showed a lot and that's without having any weapons to throw to as he never got to play a down with #1 WR Nabers and losing Skattebo for the season. I think he has a chance to be a good quarterback with more seasoning and any talent around him.

Both quarterbacks need better offensive lines and weapons around them, but they both appear to have a ton of upside.

Raiders are stuck with paying Carroll $30 million and have turned to tom Brady, who has experience in shady deals to get around salary caps, to get out of some of that payment.

Someone will nab not only Paris Johnson Jr but also Marvin Harrison Jr. to work with as far as weapons go?! One helluva start. Just nab that guy at QB, finish out the roster and that Cardinals team will be looking pretty good again.

Mind you though, a lot of this has to go right with the Head Coaching hire.

It was in fact Berry. He must be grinning from ear to ear after somehow retaining a job after that debacle

What a sad state of job openings. Just a bunch of organizations with poor ownership/FOs.

Raiders: poorest roster in the league. Even with Brady on the forefront, this screams meh. Only redeeming quality is the #1 overall pick. Probably would want a high profile retread who's willing to deal with a complete rebuild.

Cards: ok roster. Don't know enough of their state nonetheless. Just plays in a very tough division.

Atlanta: ok roster. May have a QB in Penix. I think Matt Ryan should be able to do an effective job as president.

Browns: awful ownership. Solid young roster that needs a QB. If ownership can get out of the way, this squad can develop under the right coaching.

Giants: ehhh solid young roster. Probably the most attractable job of this miserable lot, and they have their warts. I think they'll go after a retread or aim for a trade.

Titans. Ehh roster with a young QB. Need an influx of talent.

If I'm a Klint Kubiak I'm saying thx but no thx unless a situation like Baltimore opens up.

Raiders would be dumb to pass on Stefanski. Brady needs to hire him NOW.

Would be interesting to see what Stefanski's position on that trade was when they were setting it up.

The GM should have been fired already after that deal...among the worst decisions in the UFA/Cap era.

    I would personally.

For that matter, given how much Stefanski relies heavily on timing based routes?! Dante Moore would be the ideal hand in glove fit. Fernando technically would as well but I have to evaluate him some more.

I don't agree with Daniel Kelly fully but more often than not, he does have a good track record of hits as far as his overall grades are.

This came down to a couple kicks. The Boswell missed EP and the Loop missed FG. I wonder what happens Pittsburgh if Loop don’t miss that kick. Here’s a Tomlinism following the game :

REPORTER: Mike, how did you feel about that missed kick bc your season was about to be over ?

TOMLIN : ya-know, how it is. If my aunt had male parts, she’d be my uncle.

Tomlins coaching position is Houdini-like in Pittsburgh.

Unless we don't retain Austin (don't think we should retain him) and he comes to be our DC.

Only if Flores is signed to an extension in MN then I wouldn't mind Schwartz but not sure he is a 3-4 guy.

You would have thought Tom Brady would have talked Mark Davis out of that hire, after seeing Carroll not use Lynch at goal line in that Super Bowl.

I think Cincy kept Zac to appease Burrow.

Did Pete hire Kelly? If he did he sabotaged himself, stupid hire.

    okie dokie then;

Sports media executive David Bearman pointed out on Sunday that Sanders ends the 2025 season with an 18.9 QBR. That's the fifth-worst mark among 696 quarterbacks who have attempted at least 200 passes since QBR became a stat in 2006.

It's also the worst single-season QBR average for any Browns quarterback with at least six starts. Considering the amount of poor quarterbacks the team has employed, that's an eye-popping stat.

QBR, or quarterback rating, values the quarterback on all play types on a 0-100 scale adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses faced. Sanders definitely faced stiff competition, and didn't have the best supporting cast, but it's still a bad look.

The owner Jimmy Haslem wanted him. Funny, he was a minority owner with the Steelers...

Posted this in the draft room. I wouldn’t have used the #1 pick on him before I read this, definitely wouldnt now. I think hes getting pumped up in what turned out to be a meh draft class. Mendoza was on no ones radar last season.

There is a common belief in the media down here that Tua is the main issue, and McDaniel's inherited him but got success out of him. Many like to point out that the one consistent with the team over the last decade has been the GM, most everything else has changed, multiple times even, but with the same results. I'm surrounded by Fins fans down here....interesting bunch.
