I get that he did miss a kick that would have sent his team to the playoffs. That said, this is disgusting.






Blaming Tyler Loop for how the 2025 Ravens Season ended would be no different if the Steelers lost and people were sending death threats to D.K. Metcalf. Two things are true here. Yes, Tyler Loop did miss the kick. However, Baltimore started the season 1-5. That isn't solely on Loop.


That befalls on Head Coaching. Now, I am not condoning the fact that said threats should be sent Harbaugh's way either for that isn't my intention. What I am saying is that Baltimore, as a team, dug themselves into an insurmountable hole early in the season. They have themselves to blame for it.

 

Ravens 5 out of 6 first games - lions, bills, chiefs, rams and texans - that schedule was nuts.

Don't think death threats are a good way to vent frustration there @steelersrule6. I'd imagine lots of Ravens fans are pissed; justifiability so. Online trolling or otherwise?!

Even with a bad back, Lamar is still legendary for his abilities to escape would be sacks. He is easily among the best ever for certain. Other QBs not named Josh Allen?!

Injuries. Loosing to the Bengals and swept by the Steelers. Blowing 4th quarter leads against the Bills, Lions and Patriot. Idiotic coaching decisions. Those are the reasons they are going to Cancun and not Loop’s miss.

 

Isn’t that Social Media reaction expected these days? Not saying it is right, but people hidden behind anonymous screen names say wild stuff.

 

Unfortunately it’s to be expected in today’s age. Lots of tough guys hiding behind an anonymous avatar/username. Gotta feel bad for the kid as a human (despite being super happy he missed as a fan). This is definitely a top 5 worst moment of his life and he gets to field death threats to him and his family because of it. Super sh!tty. I can’t imagine what that’s like. Hopefully he can turn off the noise and get himself through it. Going to be a tough offseason for the kid. Hopefully he gets a shot to redeem himself next year with a big kick somewhere (as long as it’s not against us lol)

 

Wild and vile. Hate to see it… shoot, more people nowadays are willing to put their own name and face behind some of the awful crap they say online (especially so when politics gets involved). It’s only getting worse. Not sure why people think that kind of thing is acceptable…

 

This is awesome. My daughter is 2 months old and is already never seen us lose a division . My brother is due to have his first as well in March. In the next couple years Steelers games at my dad’s every Sunday will be so much fun. 3 generations in the basement waving our towels and yelling at the tv is going to be awesome.

This is a game. There should never be a threat against anybody over anything that happens on a field of play. People need to grow the F up and find something in their lives more important than a freaking football game.

So sad that players and coaches have to deal with this crap.

 

You're right. I thought it was over after they completed the pass on fourth down and I was crushed.

 

Watching the highlights this morning. Snap and set looked ok. Loop hadn't missed one all year from that distance. That one's going to hurt the rookie for a while. Ouch for him....Utter celebration for Steelers fans.
