in what respect are you referring too. The games today were brutal. Houston won by 8 points and did not cover the spread of 9.5 against an Indy team that was down to their 3rd string QB. NYGs pummelled DAL. CLE beat CINCI. I mean this was not the outcome I was expecting.

Texans just gave up more yards today then they have in any other game and did not look good. Houston is very beatable.

    9 game win streak
Odds are in our favor to end it
Texans rested players in second half
    Once Jags got big lead
Texans maybe the best team in AFC
    Or
    The hottest at the moment

Emotion matters and can bring people and teams to higher spots than they could have achieved otherwise.

The problem for us is twofold. The Ravens have the exact same emotional factors. Could be it for Harbaugh, Henry, maybe even Lamar. They played the season with significant injuries. They were all but written out of the script and hung on to get here. I would argue that the Ravens have even more emotional reasons to step up than we do.

Additionally, no amount of emotion or wanting something really bad is going to overcome a bad game plan. If we don't bring a game that is not like a Talking Heads song (same as it ever was), we had another winning season and that is it.

However......this is the Steelers and Ravens. Either team could be 0 and 16 while the other is 16 and 0 and the win could still be taken by either team. Neither team is ever out of this matchup.

Indy put up 17 before half and was down to their 3rd string QB.. Any given Sunday anything can happen.

Agree to an extent, there are a number of high profile veterans (and coaches?) that may not be here next year. I would assume no one wants to go out with a loss at home to the ravens and choking away the playoffs.

I think they’ll give it their all.

    i hope.

Wow. I guess the 80s felt so ****ty because we were coming off a dynasty. Tomlin has desensitized me to mediocrity.
