i just think about all the times conner heyward came up with big plays or timely catches and wonder why he is not used more in the gameplan. without washington couldn't we use him more? seems like defenses forget about him and he comes up with a big play. this would be a good time for him to show up on the offense. not just the 4th and short plays.

Always a good time for someone to show up on offense. Heyward is the next man up.

Every year I say Connor is a wasted roster spot. This year he has proven me wrong but not by much because he is so seldomly used.

his first couple of years he would come out of nowhere and make a good catch or really timely play for us and then he disappeared when smith got here until the steelers form of the tush push. i just think he should be used a few more plays per game. be a little innovative with him. make them have to account for him or forget and pay. all hands on board for this one.

Won't happen as long as A-Rod is throwing the ball.. He seems like he's in love with MVS.

    He’s the tush push King!!!

He should never not be used for the short yardage plays.

Be a little innovative with everyone would be a good tactic. I fear Washington may have been the only innovation we had.

i hope he does. i don't worry as much about muth as a receiver but the blocking won't be the same.

MVS getting 9 targets isn't a smart game plan .

MVS getting three straight passes into the endzone, on a drive that featured arguably your best Red Zone target get you there, is beyond unbelievable at best to incomprehensible at worst.

Our entire game plan has been a head scratcher to me...... why wasn't Washington's number called more, or Muth for that matter..
The way we use Jaylen Warren and Gainwell makes it impossible for either to truly be dominant..... our absolute refusal to incorporate Roman Wilson, or our usage of Calvin Austin as if he's larger than what he is..... I agree with the assessment of Heyward, but we're also force feeding Jonnu Smith in his place.....
IMHO, our gameplan has totally restricted the potential of what this offense could actually be

oh i agree b&g. smith's offense is not very good IMO. there is supposed to be a diamond offense with his receivers. 3 options for the ball to go to without the QB having to look around too much. i have seen way to many times at least two players in the same place. that shouldn't be happening. is it a scheme problem? is it a receiver problem? are receiver and QB not on the same page with their reads? (< that last one seems like what rodgers is barking about) then why is that?

As a fullback, shouldn't he have been doing that all along? Run blocking has been an issue for us for years.
