His last comment makes me wonder about the frame of mind for the team last year. Hopefully if it was a problem, it is behind them and they are ready for this season.

 

At least Pouncey had the spirit or what ever it took to make an apology about the hat incident. The last I read in the paper here in south Florida a couple of days ago, his brother who plays for the Dolphins did not apologize and from the article had no intention to.

Yeah, that does seem to be the theme from last season and maybe the one before it as well.

 

Yeah I've been questioning the teams mindset last season for a while now. I just don't think Tomlin had full control of the team. Wallace and Mendenhall's situations definitely didn't help. Then there were a few other guys that probably knew they were going into their last year with the Steelers. Add injuries into the mix and I just don't think we had any type of good leadership on the team.

Hopefully that will be different this year. There needs to be far more discipline and it starts with Tomlin. No more of that showboating **** from Brown either. That stuff is garbage and has no place on our team
