Thoughts on him in black n gold. Ole miss qb
    Showed out last night
    Very mobile but
    A pass first qb
Always looking down field while scrambling
    A penny for your thoughts

    He is draft eligible
    Rumor is
He might go to LSU with his OC Weis Jr and former HC Lane Kiffin next season

If he wins an extra year of eligibility... then I could see him head to LSU. That would be a huge move for him... Though its not a foregone conclusion that he will be getting that extra year and might be forced into the draft anyways. If he ends up balling out in the CFP and going far, maybe he declares anyways.

He's electric, but you have to worry about the same things you worry about other running QB's with more slight builds.... injuries. Jayden Daniels and Lamar Jackson both have seen their fair share of issues with medicals. I don't know if Chambliss is as electric as either of those guys as a runner, but he is really good. Quite a good option as a dual threat guy. You just have to run an offense that fits his talents. Lots of RPO's and roll outs, as well as some designed runs. I like him as a player and maybe its the move we make at QB if we end up falling in love with the kid. Would be nice to have him start out behind Rodgers for a year, but you never know what will happen.

    Very good passer
Like I mentioned he would rather pass than run
    Eludes pressure
Keeps head up and eyes looking downfield for open targets

Any chance he hits a growth spurt? I am skeptical of shorter qb's

Doesn’t seem to get many batted balls at LOS
    He is listed at 6’0
Iv’e seen plenty of 6’4 qbs get balls batted down at LOS

I hadn’t watched him for a full game until the quarterfinal. It was a “wow” performance for sure, but I need to see a lot more to start getting a feel for what his NFL potential is. Some of the off-script stuff was electric, but I was even more surprised by the 2 point conversion that got them the 27-24. That was anticipation at an elite level coupled with perfect accuracy, at least for that one play. I’m interested in seeing how much more of that type of on-script play he has in him. That’s what he’ll need for sustained success in the NFL.

He's Kyler Murray lite. No thanks. Murray has already shown a severe lack of understanding the basics as far as manipulation of DBs, very questionable short to intermediate accuracy and what troubles me the most, his overall inability to see the entire field from the pocket. Way too often he bails on even clean pockets and that can be either troublesome to dangerous for the NFL.

He isn't the First Round option so many think of him and possesses way too many flaws that can and will be exploited at the next level. Chambliss is a Top 100 Pick at best to a Sixth Rounder at worst.

He's a little bigger than Murray though.

I don't think the only issue for middle of the field throws with a shorter QB is depth and throwing lanes. You're not throwing MoF short with those guys. Not that this team ever would consider it.

With the $$$ paid to good QB's, I expect him to stay in college. As a NFL prospect, he is both short and under 200 LBS I think. Stay in school and get paid.
