JMO, but I think this will be a very hard game to win without DK, Washington (not only in the passing game ,but the running game), and everyone else missing.
I believe it's the 1st time I've ever felt we didn't have a chance, and that doesn't sit well with me.
It will take some seriously good coaching to pull this out.
JMO, and if You don't agree, I'm cool with it.

The Ravens should be a run the ball until they stop you type offense. I honestly believe, and I have for several seasons, that if the Ravens stick to their run game they are one of the best offenses in the league.

If LJ plays Sunday, and they try to use him as a pocket passer, the Steelers will win. Guaranteed.

The Steelers offense may not be much better on paper, but we are a much better defense than they are.

Now, if the Ravens run the ball and play clock control, our defense will be gassed. We will lose that type of game. Guaranteed. I don't care who we have playing.

This is why I laugh at fans, and media.
The Ravens fans, and media just knew for a fact that Greg Roman was holding them back with his antiquated play calling, and Him wanting to run the ball too much. They believed they needed a much more modern OC, and to pass more. LoL.
Now those same know it all Ravens fans, and Media complain they don't run the ball enough. LoL
By the way Greg Roman is doing fine now as the OC for the Chargers.

It would be very demoralizing to not win the division despite an awful year for the Ravens. This division is wide open, maybe the worst AFC north ever(since 2002)

It would be embarrassing for them too, but it's not a down year for the steelers, it's a normal year for them

If it's all Derek Henry, the Steelers are very likely going to be cooked early.

How is it not. We average 10.5 wins a year. If we lose that's 9 wins which is less than 10. Before You say about recent history . Last two years. 10-7, and 10-7. If You want to go before that, well I can give You a 8-9 season by the Ravens, and I don't want to hear about injuries. We have had injuries to key players all year, including our Qb.

Look at the trend since 2018.....9 or 10 wins every year outside of 2020...It will be 133 games after sunday or 7 seasons.I was not talking for the entire career of Tomlin

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/pit/

    edit:8 seasons in fact

Yeah, I'm not either. I was talking about just last year, and the year before. You on the other hand are skipping over the last two years, and the earlier seasons, to cheery pick some games in between.

Cut them some slack. The kid wants a dynasty. It's entitled to have it.

JMO, you are an ahole Metcalf. I'm a true believer we'd be in Playoffs already if idiot played in Cleveland.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall as he is watching game. If I'm guessing right he'll be hoping his own team loses so he can start his off season.

I don't believe that. I believe he is hoping like hell the team gets it done so he can thank them for picking him up for his mistake. He's then going to vow to ball out like crazy for as long as the run lasts. That's how players think in general.

I understand what you're saying, but I hope you are wrong. If that is how his mind works, he shouldn't be on the team and they should do everything possible to get rid of him.

I just can't believe that to be true. I never played with anyone that had the mindset. It is unthinkable to me.

I know I'll be be pulling for them to stamp an L on the Ravens' plane tickets, wishing them all the best on their way back home for the playoffs.

As for expectations, they aren't high; I don't like the matchup. But it's a rivalry game. They can go sideways and defy logic.

Also, while he does have the maddening habit of dropping games against opponents to whom he had no business losing, Tomlin also reverses the juju on occasion, beating teams he was overmatched against for one reason or another. It's typically at the point when you've given up all hope of the team winning another game. Ever.

Seems like you're just setting it up to blow the coaching staff if they win. I can see the "i told you so" posts come Monday morning.

It's not a play off game, so there's a very good chance Steelers win.

We don't have anchors on the DL to stop Henry except Harmon. Henry will run away from Harmon while Benton and Heyward get mauled over. The ILBs always seem to be out of place and take horrible angles, whiffing.... when RBs get past the DL. I expect a lot of this to happen on Sunday. Big gains and not nearly enough 3 and outs. Ravens will be scoring TDs... while we score field goals, if we're lucky.

This makes no sense. There is no evidence to back that up. Yes, Metcalf is immature and selfish. He has a history of hurting his teams by doing stupid stuff during games, but everything I've ever heard about the guy is that he works his ass off to help his team win.

I imagine he felt awful watching that Cleveland game and will feel worse if the Steelers lose Sunday night. He should. If they miss the playoffs, it will be because of his stupid, selfish decision, but no, I don't think he is hoping for that result.

Maybe. I guess you missed how different the run defense is when Harmon plays. Remember, he missed the first game against the Ravens.

There you go being a pompous ass and a bit prickly again. I'm just messing with you. I always enjoyed your signature.

I think Brown and Bell really soured me.
