Apparently it's OK for CBs from the other team to mug the Steelers WRs Screenshot 2025-12-29 092849.png prior to the pass:

That right there showed he had a different agenda than he should have had.

he had time to look around, maybe he had happy feet, or maybe he mistook MVS for DK or Pickens

they would have been better off letting Garret get the sack record on the very first play of the game so that they could at least focus on the task at hand and play to win the game. I have never seen a team try so hard not to win a game. If the goal was to not allow Garrett a sack, what's the point in that? Do we actually care more about a stupid sack record that's meaningless over getting into the playoffs? This has to be one of the worst games I ever witnessed by a "playoff" team. This was absolutely abysmal!!!!! If this is what Teflon Mike thinks is acceptable, well then I hope everyone is happy with this comedy of errors of a coaching staff!!!

Don't let this mitigate the stupidity of throwing to MVS the last three plays, but even a Packers fan sees that the Steelers were robbed on the fourth-down play. Ward should have been called for pass interference, giving the Steelers time for more than one shot at the end zone from the one.

The Browns also left 3 points on the board going for it on 4th down.

An older, less talented moron at that. Had they just kept Pickens with DK, this team would have clinched the division weeks ago.

That midget is just a younger, less talented (in their primes) Russ. I hope they don't go that direction.

Yep. Teams have been running well on Cleveland, too. Ask Tony Pollard. How embarrassing that Cam Ward and the Titans can hang over thirty on Cleveland in their stadium but our offense can't even get in the end zone once. That offensive game plan and effort were beyond pathetic.

Wasn't gonna happen. Too many people thought the Steelers were gifted the game against the Lions with the DPI. NFL would not let that happen two weeks in a row. But you are right, it was DPI.

Dumbest play of the game not kicking the FG on 4th and 1 and throwing a low percentage fade to Miller, just try to pick up the first down or kick the damn FG points are at a premium :frustrated:.

Do we blame the coaches or do we blame Rodgers for throwing the fade that had no chance when he had Thielen wide open on a short crossing route?

I guess we will never know what plays Arthur Smith actually called or if Rodgers checked into something else, I can't believe Smith had Rodgers throw three straight passes to MVS at the end of the game .

I have a hard time with putting Pittsburgh and game plan in the same sentence. Should they have one Sunday night it must be to shut down Henry, cover Andrew’s and force Huntley or Lamar into 3rd and longs on defense. Offense needs to pound the rock and eat the clock. ARod needs to spread the ball around when forced to throw.
