    I think our record of drafting, developing Wrs may have went the way of the doej doe bird. we haven't develop a Wr since BA was here. I think out of the wrs that we drafted over the years still playing on other teams is JU Ju... and of course GP.

    Weakest part of team.

    Empty out the room and start over for the new QB next season.

    Where is Hines Ward?! Add him to the coaching staff!

    Gonna have to get rid of the coaching staff as well, the coaches here have done a poor job of developing Wrs

    Roman Wilson isn't getting on the field because he lacks talent. He isn't getting on the field because Aaron Rodgers doesn't trust him. That, by itself however, isn't the issue.

    The reason as to why development in not just Receivers but Offensive Personnel has been so stagnant has a lot more to do with how archaic and ancient Tomlin's Offensive Philosophy is. With Matt Canada, it was literally a retcon of Jock Sutherland's Offense. With Arthur Smith, it has gotten better but not as much as one hoped. The major issue is Tomlin's risk adverse Coaching Philosophy.

    Take for example Jaylen Warren's fumble. After the fumble, anyone notice how the Steelers elected not to run as much anymore?! That really isn't an Arthur Smith decision. Arthur's history suggested that, fumble or not, the team would have ran the Football regardless. That issue befalls squarely on Tomlin. Even worse?! Warren had over 5 yards a carry after the fumble. Given how well the Offensive Line was playing as far as running the football heading into the game, doubly so after the game against Miami, one would assume this would continue; fumble or not. That simply didn't happen.

    How does any of the aforementioned have anything to do with the development of Wide Receivers?! Conservative decisions. Now, Aaron Rodgers isn't exempt from this discussion as it takes two to tango in terms of developing young WRs. However, this has been going on long before Aaron ever entered the fold. If anything, Daniel Jeremiah sums it up best below;

    In conclusion?! This same $#!tshow has been going on since 2017. It is going to continue to happen until Tomlin leaves; doubly so for Offensive Personnel Development. If anything, now that I say this, I don't want the team drafting a First Round WR for Tomlin has shown he is tone deaf to Modern NFL Concepts.

    One constant of it all.

    Multiple QB Changes, multiple Offensive Coordinator changes, multiple Offensive Positional Coaches changes and yet one constant stays the same.

    Until Tomlin leaves?! Expect more of the same.
