Winner gets to host the Texans. ???

We might get 2 teams both going half speed instead of the typical Steelers/Ravens rock 'em sock 'em games. Unlikely, but maybe.

I just don't feel that either team is going to make any type of playoff run this year. Got the same going on in the NFCSouth. Lots of sizzle for one game but not much more.

I'm never going to be a 'tank' fan. Go Steelers! Beat the Ravens! But, I don't see much benefit on the other side of this game. I do think next season looks a lot better from here than this post season does.

For me the weather would be a factor. I can go to a game when its cold, I can go to a game when its wet, but not if it is both. Especially if the outcome is a prime-time L. JMO>

With whose fans? Hope Rogers won't have to use silent counts at home again.

I don't consider snow as bad as rain, so maybe this would be a possibility. Now the only other variable is wind. Doesn't really matter as I will be in GA and thankful for it.

Can't see how they win but this is the type of situation Tomlin pulls out a win. THEN get smoked the following week.

I hate to admit this but I find there is a portion of my heart that would like to see the Steelers get a beat down. Things have to change.

Browns fan here. Two of my best friends are Steelers fans, we met at halftime for a cold one yesterday, and this topic summed up our conversation. This is how the NFL wanted this season to unfold. This upcoming Sunday is essentially a playoff game for you guys. It’s in the ‘Burgh. My money is on Pittsburgh. 23-10. Happy New Year.

You’re right it was completely predictable we get beat by the Browns in Cleveland and not score a TD. You’ll be right back after Sunday Night Football with the same thing about the Steelers losing to the Ravens and losing the division that was right there in our faces to win.

I can’t remember the last time I watched a dominant Steelers team. Yes, we had a good team in 2016 but got beat down in the AFC Championship game by of course the Pats. That team was loaded I will say. Ben, Bell, and Brown. Throw Sanders in there as well. Our D was getting old but still good. So, I guess it would have to be the 2010 team that made it to the SB and should’ve won but Richard Mendenhall fumbled the ball right when we had seized the momentum. Then if I remember correctly we had the ball around the 8-10 yard line to win the game and couldn’t get it in the end zone. Oh well, maybe sometime in the next 5-10 years we’ll have a dominant team again!

    This.

While the D is important, this game will be on the O's shoulders. If we come out laying eggs like Sunday - we're cooked.

Steeler fans need to be loud and proud! Steelers players need to be amped up and take on a us against the world attitude and Steelers will be victorious! How bad do you want it? Defend home soil at all costs! Play smart, make least mistakes and do your job! The team created this situation so handle your business like the pros you are. Go Steelers!

They couldn't really do that in the first meeting, and that was with Harmon out. A lot depends on whether or not Jackson plays. If he doesn't, the Steelers will load up on Henry and put the game on Huntley. That might be enough to slow the Ravens down. It would have been enough with the offense we saw during the three-game winning streak, even without Washington, but Metcalf ruined that. So did Tomlin and Khan, who foolishly left the team so thin at receiver.

It sucks to watch the Steelers lose. It is infinitely worse to see it happen because the coach and GM did something so incredibly stupid in building the roster, something most of us knew was stupid when they did it. Trading Pickens was stupid. Failing to add an adequate veteran to replace him in the offseason was malpractice, which they then made worse by refusing to overpay for someone like Meyers. We are going to see the Ravens dare the Steelers to throw deep on them just like they did in the first meeting, but this time it is going to work because Rodgers has no one ot throw to.

    Jackson will play.

Rodgers and Scantling looked AWFUL Sunday and SMITHs playcalling was suspect as well

I would contend that DK did the STUPID thing and may keep us from the playoffs

he is a BIG DUMMY hothead too, like Pickens.

I am going to be positive for a moment. Steelers fans can't lose no matter the outcome of this game. The Steelers can beat the Ravens, win the division, and go to the playoffs. They will likely get bounced in the Wildcard, but at least they won the division and made the playoffs. Meets expectations season.

If the Steelers lose, we fans win even bigger, because that means the Ravens will keep Harbaugh.

There will be boos and chants of 'FIRE TOMLIN' on a prime time national game. That terrible PR will carry right over to the NFL Draft. Each predictable failure and pushback from the fanbase gets us closer to getting rid of this overrated, fraudulent, head coach that lives in his fears. Eventually the owner will fold or Tomlin will leave on his own from embarrassment.

The Steelers can ultimately get their next head coach, a new QB, and ascend ahead of the Ravens.
    Steeler fans can't lose! :steelflag:
