I know the Steelers still have a ton of work to do having to beat the Ravens here next Sunday night to get into the playoffs and win the division. But looking how things played out today it's looking like it's gonna be the Houston Texans who are the 5 seed right now as the team the Steelers will play on wildcard weekend if they win the division here on Sunday night next week. The only way it wouldn't be Houston at this point is if the Jaguars lose at home to Tennessee and the Texans win at home against the Colts then the Texans would win the division and either the Chargers or Bills would be the 5 seed depending upon what happens in their games. If the Texans straight up lose to the Colts as well it will be either the Bills or Chargers as well as the 5 seed most likely based on their respective games results. But for right now it's not totally set in stone but it's looking like a pretty safe bet that the Steelers opponent on Wildcard weekend will be the Houston Texans unless something unforeseen happens on Sunday with the Jags losing to the Titans. My early take should the Steelers handle their business against the Ravens on Sunday night in that game is I would rather play Houston over Josh Allen and the Bills the first wildcard game. I know Houston has a good defense, but I still feel they could win that game here at home.

I know in the back of our minds we have hope but I doubt anyone things this team has a chance in hell in the Playoffs. We'd be fodder just like winner of NFCS.

That said, I still want to be fodder.

Sorry OP but these threads are dumb just like a few weeks ago fans starting threads about who would rather face in the first round, make the playoffs first before worrying about the opponents you want to face.

It sucks to see we could have avoided Buffalo and could have given our starters a much needed rest in week 18. I think we would have had a real shot at winning round 1 had that been the case. Now, it's doubtful we even play beyond this week. And if we do, the Ravens game is sure to be a physically exhausting game.

Playoffs? How are Steelers gonna stop Derrick Henry? How are Steelers gonna sustain drives without Metcalf and Washington?

I would not be booking airline tickets for Steelers in the Super Bowl just yet.

Our playoffs started with the Browns and we lost to a 3-12 team with a terrible rookie QB. We aren't beating the Ravens.

You might be right. But the Clowns have a much better D than the Rats. And we're playing at home vs. the Rats. And we've already beaten the Rats in their home. So, pretty much anything can happen in this game and there isn't a score/outcome that would surprise me.

We will make the playoffs and win the division against the Ravens. WWNFL does not want Tyler Huntley in the playoffs, and we paid the price for the entry to the playoffs yesterday.
We will play the Bills at home again, because that is the selling storyline.

The NFL would make sure it's a Friday game on an obscure cable channel that needs a streaming subscription.

This offense vs Texans defense would be a recipe for setting some records we don't want to hold. We'd struggle to end up with triple digit total yards.

Going to be quite exciting playing 3 playoff games at home as underdogs
