Considering how much they paid him, he's massively disappointing. Not sure if that's on him or the schemes, probably a combination of both. He's not even in the top 10 of their problems. I thought they left some better players on the board at positions of greater need when they picked him and it's continued to hurt for the last few years.

It appears the Pirates are at least trying to up their game a little this off season. Owner smoking crack or something?

Needed to use middle of field in end zone, nope, some BS plays run. Refs didn’t care for us today, some questionable calls. No deep shots, need at least one. Had a chance. NFL wanted us to lose to force next week.

    Whatever he is smoking
    I like it
    Finally going after some bats
To go along with that awesome starting pitching rotation
Probably figured it out watching the putrid Steelers organization year after year

PF was targeted 3 times and caught 3 passes. Do you think he should of been target more. Even Cowher said he should of been targeted more and he is not on the same page with Rodgers. To me he should of been targeted more all season long. He still has the best hands on the team.

Very tired of all announcers, so excited when a play happens to Steelers, wet their pants. Romo, creaming over Browns all day, they 3-12, F that BS.

    My 0.02 cents:

1.) Is there anyone left that doesn’t think Roman is a bust?

2.) First time I ever watched Malik Willis last night and I was impressed. His contract is up, I would not mind seeing if we could sign him.

wORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN WAS TURNING THE 1ST C

Only the deluded. It shows how bad the WR room is when people still think he's somehow going tio be factor.

    He's a total bust.

Willis looked like what he was going into the drafts - better than Kenny Pickett, he's at least got something.

We gotta make sure STD sticks around this week for discussion of upcoming Ravens game! He bolted after Steelers lost to Bears and we didn't see him again until after Steelers beat Ravens in Baltimore.

He bolted during the playoff disaster v Baltimore last year. That was funny.

I will repeat my earlier statement.

I do not disagree with the argument that PF should be targeted more. There are often reasons why a player is not targeted. Someone smarter than me will have to go dig that reason out.

Personally, I believe that it is because PF is not very good and is not getting open with enough separation for the QB to get the ball to him.

So many things went into what we saw on the field today. There's more than enough blame to go around.
It was an organizational failure as a whole the way the receiver situation was handled.
DK putting himself above the team, leaving them short-handed. Still, the team had the week to prepare with a game plan to use the guys who've been here all year like Warren, Gainwell, Washington and Muth. For whatever reason that didn't happen. Even when Rodgers takes over calling the plays, he makes some mind numbingly dumb decisions at times. Which is precisely why you have a guy with his experience, to make the right calls.
The 4th and 1 call might have come from the sidelines but Rodgers made the choice to go with that route. Why they wait until the final drive to include Muth, especially with an injured linebacker, is anybody's guess. Is it Rodgers? Smith? Tomlin giving his own input? Maybe it's a combination but whatever the reason is, it's a head scratcher.
They picked the wrong defense to try and get the ball out to the edge on receiver screens, those guys fly to the ball.
There are just so many issues with this team that lead to the outcome we saw when everything doesn't go perfect.
Mistakes like Herbigs drop are magnified when the offense can't get it together. That play very well could have been the difference in the game.
Bozwell missing, as rare as it's been, was still damaging. Their punter was better than ours so there's that as well.
This team quite literally needs everybody making plays in order to win. No one player or group is good enough to take over games.
I'm not giving up on them for next week but the plan better be a whole lot better than what we saw today or they'll be sitting at home for the playoffs.

Missed FG, more salt in the wound. Would have been in position to kick the winning FG.

This game was there for the taking.

The brain trust isn't very bright, we've seen this for years.

Terrible trade and contract extension for Metcalf.

The team has the worst hands i've ever seen.

I can't have a go at Boswell, he's kept us comepetitive for years.

Next week looks like a disaster waiting to happen, the rats have done the damndest to hand us the division all year, Borrow hasn't been a factor the stanis are the stains and yet the Steelers have somehow turned this mountain of good luck into a pile of dung going to the final week, this should have been done and dusted weeks ago, but we had a mid season collapse. These last 2 games shouldn't really have mattered.

So you don't disagree that PF should be targeted more, Do you think MVS should have been targeted more or was open more then PF. or has better hands?

This team is lost not because of talent but because of lack of good coaching on both sides of the ball. The players look lost out there.
