They didn't pick up Thielen a long time ago because he was still on the Vikings , you do realize he only became available because he asked to be released stop making crap up.

 

I don't see a problem with counting on him to make maybe 3 catches, nobody was expecting Miller to have 3 receptions against Detroit.
