    .... as a Brown:

The Cleveland Browns have signed a former Pittsburgh Steelers third-round draft pick ahead of their Week 17 AFC North showdown.

On Wednesday, the Browns signed ex-Steelers IOL Kendrick Green to their active roster off the Buffalo Bills practice squad.

Selected by Pittsburgh with the 87th overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Green played center during his rookie year, where he infamously struggled on an offensive line tasked with protecting the legendary Ben Roethlisberger during his final season.

Green was moved to guard the following season but couldn’t win the job from Kevin Dotson, ultimately finishing the 2022 season without any game-day appearances.

In August 2023, he was traded to the Houston Texans for a 2025 sixth-round pick, a selection that ultimately helped the Steelers acquire Justin Fields from the Bears.

Green signed a one-year deal with the Bills in March 2025 but was released as a part of final roster cuts in August, signing with Buffalo’s practice squad the day after.

That scrub should have NEVER been a Steeler! And during Bens last season! Almost seemed like some sick joke. Green had extra padding in his @ss because he was constantly on it.

He was one of Colbert's last parting gifts before he faded away after a decent first half career.

I'd call the first half of his career as better than decent.

What a disaster he was. And he was supposed to succeed Pouncey. One of our truly inept decisions. But it wasnt all his fault, poor guy was put in an impossible situation.

I thought he was speaking towards Colbert, but I could be wrong.

I actually was excited when they tried him at fullback. He was quite athletic but small for a center. He was good at the second level in college and had powerful leg drive as he could squat a car.. They scored when he blocked as fullback in preseason and caught a touchdown too. Then cut him.

An undersized lineman would be a huge, low center of gravity, powerful fullback. Would be nice in that Pitt push we are doing now.

First half of his career was HOF worthy but he fell off a cliff after 2014, the 2017 draft was his only good one thereafter
