Its early in the game. I understand that. But, the defense without TJ did better last game and is looking better this game than it did with him.

TJ is good, no doubt about it, but the defense is looking better IMO.

He might be the only coach in the NFL I would trust less with in-game situations than Tomlin.

 

Completely agree - that is why I don’t agree with the evolved thinking of going for it on 4th down all the time. Campbell is known for taking those chances. Instead of being tied, now the Steelers can make it hurt (hopefully).

it’s only stupid if field position changes. If it doesn’t, they get the ball back with good field position to score anyways. Just delayed.

I loved the pick. He might be the steal of that draft. That's why you don't necessarily just go on positions of immediate need

 

There was a time when TJ being out literally meant the Steelers had a 90% chance of losing. Those days appear to be over, which is a good thing regardless of how much gas TJ's got in the tank.
