One of the best opening theme of a show.

Don’t know if anyone has posted this song in the hundreds of pages, but this is an all time favorite of mine. The band leader Tom Scholz is often credited with the great guitar solos, but they were actually played by Barry Gaudreau, as he does live in this version. Also, need to give it up for bassist Fran Sheehan doing head banging that would make thrash bands (and Beavis and Butthead) proud.

Weird. I was just listening to this yesterday, and thinking about learning it. I know pieces of it throughout the years of Jamming with others, but I , anyone or bands I've ever played with never covered it in it entirety.

Also the the vocals live are way easier to reproduce than the ones recorded on the record.

I gotta give it a winner, and a hilarious. That same exact shot of the lead just used twice made me laugh.

I know I've probably done this already, but was listening on the way home. This is one of my favorite Randy leads. I love the doubling in some of the parts. I wore this tape out in the 9, and 10 grade.

How could you miss with a yodeler lead singer and band member names like this - "Focus is a Dutch progressive rock band formed in Amsterdam in 1969 by keyboardist, vocalist, and flautist Thijs van Leer, drummer Hans Cleuver, bassist Martijn Dresden, and guitarist Jan Akkerman."

One hit wonder but it sure was amazing and energetic. :thumbs up:

I can't stand Bob Dylan, but I dig almost every song I've heard when people redo his music so he must have done something great.
