Can Miami handle this cold?

The Steelers need a win they're 0-3 this season in primetime .

 

I've noticed this. I hate prime time games... and they are usually over with by mid 3rd quarter with Steelers getting blown out, so I get to go to bed earlier than expected.

 

No excuses if we don`t win. Not only win, would like to see us play like we want the playoffs, not just eke out a win.

We really need this win with a likely loss coming in Detroit next week. I don't want a winner take all game against the Ravens in week 18. I want us to have things wrapped up by then.

 

I'm just getting bad vibes everytime The Fan brings up our home record on MNF and Tua's awful record in cold weather. Trends are meant to be broken. I think the Steelers win this because they're a better team.

That might work in our favor. They may think they can single up one of our young guys, and they make them pay.

Times sure change. Back in the day, the worse the game conditions were, the more the Steelers were favored. Chuck Noll played his whole career in Cleveland (under Paul Brown no less). He put teams together that had a ball control offense that monopolized time of possession, along with a dominant defense that did not allow long drives. This worked great at the time, and even better in crappy field conditions.
Not these days in the pass happy NFL.

I still do think that the Dolfish coming to the Burgh is like invading Russia. It is historically a very difficult thing to do in December.
