Well, yes. Howie had to gut that team and made smart moves in rotating out old talent.
We on the other had, have Omar.

I would give a first round pick 2026, Tomlin, Heyward and a bowl of soup. If that didn’t work I would throw in Mason, our 2nd round pick in 2026 and Pittsburgh Dad!

It was all good and could have been the deal but you offered Soup instead of skyline chili. Deal would have probably been completed by now.

To be fair, you don't start with your best offer. You expect them to counter.

Unless JB continues to miss the equivalent of one season out of every three due to injury.

Some on here has told me that Minnesota has the best HC, and DC in the league, and way better than we have, so surely they can make the playoffs with a 2nd year player, and a multiple year starting backup, or at least not have a losing season. Right???
    Right???

What a stupid decision they made when they let Darnold walk in favor of JJ McCarthy. They were lucky for a while when he got hurt and Wentz kept them afloat but then he was hurt and out for the season and then they were screwed. Now next year they have to search for a QB again. They could have avoided all of this if they would have simply resigned Darnold.

I say the hell with Burrow. He’s whining because he’s a competitor and injuries the last 2 seasons have kept him and his team from achieving pre-Burrow-injury success.

I think he’s an elite QB but this type of whining is more acceptable in the offseason. Had Joe Flacco been able to win a couple more, Burrow would’ve likely still had these feelings but they wouldn’t have been as pronounced.

Sorry, I’m an old school traditionalist. You want to ***** and moan—at least have the courtesy to do it in the offseason. Don’t upset your fans or put concerns on your teammates. We all hope this is kind of a reverse psychology ploy and he balls out vs the Raven but I’m not holding my breath.

BTW — Please tell me someone’s doing a Ravens Bengals thread in this forum Sunday !?!

I think it's the record of scoring over 30 points a game , and losing. Also last Year Him throwing for the most yards, and most tds, and can't make the playoffs.

They problem is kinda opposite the Steelers. Their spent the money on the offense and the defense is inadequate, the Steelers spent money on defense and the offense is inadequate. One side is a liability to the other. Catch 22.

Agreed, but at least ours has been taking us to the playoffs, maybe not winning, but you don't have a chance at a win, if You can't get there.

The Browns might be dumb enough to something like that, but not the Bengals.

That’s a valid point because their defense does stink. I still stand pat that these complaints are for the offseason. I just wonder if having Buffalo on the ropes and not being able to put them away sent him over the edge.

Bungles done. They should rest Burrow the remainder of the year.

Today's game was/is hard to watch. Burrows is playing like crap... no wonder he's not having fun given that he's sucking it up out there.

His interview where he is basically glum and questioning his future may have really affected team play.

My interpretation was he was unhappy with his O-line blocking and those guys were horrible today.

He looked good in the first game against the Ravens, but the Bengals didn't even show up today.

I'd take Burrow in a heartbeat and give the Bungles mostly anything they wanted for him. The problem is... why would Burrow want to come to the Steelers? He'd be in a worse offense than he has now and with a defense that isn't much better either.

I’d be more than happy with him just being out of the division but if the stars somehow align where he ends up on the Steelers, all the better.

I wouldn't be surprised if Burrow pulled an Andrew Luck and Barry Sanders, retiring early.

Just think. If they just settled for a field goal everytime they were in range, that is a different game.
