Yup. I'm not worrying about anything past this weekend right now. The Bengals have a good shot to sweep the Ravens. The Steelers can make their chances a hell of a lot better with that and a win Monday night.

Hate to be that guy, but we're 3-5 since starting 4-1. The Ravens game definitely helped stop the bleeding and I just can't look ahead and think any of these last 4 games will be easy victories especially the way we've looked these past 4 or 5 games. I'm thrilled that we beat our rival in their house, but they're not exactly looking good this season either. Frankly, I would rule out the possibility of a 3 way tie at 8-9 with Cincinnati winning the division. I just think we need to do this one week at a time and hope for the best here. Miami won't be an easy opponent and this just might go down to the last possession.

Yeah? The guy that gets 6 carries a game is going to be team MVP?

But you want to brag because Warren had a few games over 5.0 YPC, what about the games when he averaged under 3.0 YPC .

Ah clairvoyant Cleo here knows the outcome of any game with 3 minutes left on the clock, , and only needing a field goal to win. LoL

How does that defend your statement? I said that we started the year rushing it poorly. Had a 7 game stretch where we ran it well (including a game where Gainwell started due to an injury), then we've run it like dog the last 3 games....I clearly mentioned that the team has been up and down. Small stretch of trash blocking, when we had good blocking we got good production, and then reverted back to trash (largely because Rodgers was struggling with passing for a couple games.

Mmm. Sounds like bottom line is if Bungles win out, we are forced to win 2.

I'm not ready for NE to be good again. I won't feel better until they are miserable losers for....well....a decade or two.

Its also a drafting and developmental issue as well. Kendrick Green had no business being a Center, Kevin Dotson had no business being moved to LG, Mason Cole should have never been a Center to begin with and Broderick Jones was more raw than sushi when it came to his development. That isn't including the musical chairs of Offensive Line Coaches either. Much of those Coaching Staff decisions befall on Tomlin. That is most assuredly his fault.

Pat Meyer is better than Adrian Klemm but that isn't really a ringing endorsement. It wasn't until Andy Weidl came along that Pittsburgh finally got back on track to drafting quality Offensive Lineman. Given how Broderick Jones has a stinger though (neck injuries are very tricky to figure out), don't be surprised if the likes of Blake Miller from Clemson or even a surprise pick in Kadyn Proctor is a part of Pittsburgh's Draft Plans.

I personally believe that the Steelers should pick up Broderick's fifth year option. With this stinger injury though?! It is a 50-50 bet at best.

He will be out given how it is long overdue that the likes of Khan and Weidl take the reigns away from Tomlin. Tomlin is likely on his last legs in Pittsburgh anyways. Begin building a new Coaching Staff without Tomlin's input.

Playoff win or not, if Tomlin does not like it and opts to leave?! So be it.

And some of us said the same thing when Najee was RB1 trash blocking was part of the reason for the struggles in the run game .

Nope. Poor offensive line play can only be used as an excuse for Warren no matter how bad that group was during Harris's time in Pittsburgh. lol

Right now the Ravens are a bad team. A very bad team. The Steelers are a bad team with a one game lead. Advantage Pittsburgh.

All I know is I’m taking my 11 year old grandson to the game on Monday - so they better win. Otherwise, I’m sending a strongly worded letter to Mr. Rooney!

Dress warm. It will be very cold. I took my son years ago to Dec game and it was 5 degrees and we were four rows from the top of the North Endzone. That was the game we all stayed after cheering for Baker Mayfield and Cleveland to beat the Rats so that we could make the playoffs. Of coarse he threw an INT and it was like a funeral leaving the stadium. All and all it was great quality time spent with my son.
