    Since 2000:
They are 9–27 in games played below 40°F.

    Since 1990:
    They’re around 3–15 in games below 30°F.

20°F I could only find losses.

    Can they?!

The way they are playing?! Without a doubt.

Why?! Their running game has carried them back into the Playoff Picture. Pittsburghs run defense is among the worst in football within the past three weeks. Miami is more than capable of winning this.

Even if we dont account for that?! Pittsburgh cannot run the football consistently enough... at all.

Could this version of the Steelers be like the 2008 Arizona Cardinals? That Cardinals team lost 4 of their last 6, including 3 losses by 3 touchdowns or more. The Cardinals had the aging Kurt Warner, similar to the aging Aaron Rodgers.

Warner was still playing at a high level though. He was also only 37.

He had almost 4600 yards that season and 30 TD’s.

Rogers is going to have to take viagra or something to elevate us during the playoffs.

Him stepping out of bounds cost us going to the playoffs.

I would not bet against the Steelers this weekend, regardless of how the Dolphins have been playing. I only pulled up the stats for the last 3 games for each team. The Dolphins have won all 3 (on a 4 game winning streak right now). Those 3 teams they beat are the Jets, Saints and Commanders. So far, 8 teams are eliminated from the playoffs. All 3 of those teams are on that list. They have a combined games total of 8 / 33. So Miami did win, but it does not look like much of a competition.

The Steelers are 1 / 2 over that period against the Ravens, Bears and Bills. That is a far different strength of field than what Miami had.

Despite what I'm bout to say, I think the Steelers ultimately win this game, but this is definitely a tricky matchup that a month or two ago , I'd call it an easy W. Miami around weeks 3-7 were the epitome of dysfunction. Their turnaround has been sneaky and are one of the hotter teams in the league. A loss here, especially an ugly loss, will get the negative train running all over again. For that reason alone, I think this team rises to the occasion and puts an end to Miami's slim playoff hopes.

Hell, a month ago I was assuming this game was going to be "Flexed" out of Monday night with how bad the Dolphins were playing. :)

Nice we didn't lose a primetime game.

Why not? Those players weren't all born and raised in south Florida

Painful. He didnt have to be hugging the line that tight, had plenty of room.

The Chargers during the Rivers and LT days always seemed to come to Pittsburgh during the winter and they lost every time.

I always felt weather was a huge factor.

There's a lot going against Miami... Their record in the cold, Tua in the cold, Tomlin's MNF home record... This one should be (and really has to be) a win. I'm not expecting an easy one, but we should definitely find a way to pull it out. Just can't let Achane rip off any long ones.
