Well we've blown how many halftime leads this season? Can't just assume you're going to win if you're up one score at half.

    Yep.

Tough to get Allen and then Lamar in back to back weeks.

And we were losing this before this game (so still losing this).

Quick search looks like we're 4-3 against common opponents and Rats are 5-2. Would really help us if we beat CLE and they lose to CIN again. Then we'd be tied here (although we'd just win by division record in this case).

We beat the Pats and lost to GB (they have these two games left to play).

They beat the Dolphins and lost to the Lions (we have these two games to play).

So they probably have a harder set of common opponents left (CIN, NE, GB) than we do (CLE, MIA, DET).

I think you're right that 2 games probably does it. Probably need one of those wins to be at least CLE and hopefully BAL.

Might end up being like years I seem to remember when TEN was in the Central. Where we'd go to the 4th or 5th tie breaker. Might be my memory failing here though.

The Ravens do have the tougher schedule remaining. The Bengals are dangerous. The Patriots and Packers are better than the Ravens. Winning two out of the next three might be enough for the Steelers to clinch the division before the rematch. Of course, that is easier said than done.

Common opponents will end up being 14 games. Remember, they both play the entire AFCE and NFCN. The only uncommon opponents will be Indy, Seattle LAC. The Steelers beat Indy. The Ravens uncommon opponents are Hou, KC and the Rams. Steelers went 1-2, Ravens went 0-3.

So if they end up tied at 9-8, the Ravens will have a better common opponent record 9-5 vs 8-6.

The Ravens really need to lose to Cincy for us to have the highest chances. If they lose to the Bengals, then a win vs. Cleveland locks up the division record for us. Basically if the Ravens lose to Cincy and beat NE and GB, we only have to beat Cleveland and one of Miami or Detroit to win the division and make the week 18 matchup meaningless. If the Ravens beat the Bengals, but lose to one of NE or GB but beat the other, then we will likely have a "win and in" game in Pittsburgh the final week of the season (unless we run the table before then), as I think we would lose the tiebreaker in this scenario with a tie. If the Ravens lose 2 games of any kind, then we only need to win 2 games of any kind.

Basically we're huge Bengals fans on Sunday. We need the Ravens to lose to Cincy OR both NE and GB. Both those scenarios essentially lock the division up prior to the next matchup (as long as we win 2 of our next 3 games vs Miami, Detroit, and Cleveland - and one of those 2 is Cleveland).

GEEZZZZ! I swear that some of the people on here don't watch any other football. Almost everything they complain about has been done, or is being done by almost every team in the league.
Oh no they were ahead, and almost lost....this can be said by every team this year.
Oh no they threw behind the 1st down marker, again by every team in the league, and let's not forget that a 30 yard td was scored yesterday by throwing behind the marker.
Like I said the people that continue to complain about this stuff must not watch the teams we are playing against, or any other teams in the league, or ......they just love to complain.

It seemed like they missed at least 10 sacks against Allen and Lamar.

Well the refs have a bit to do with this. First You can't destroy them when You get there, and then they don't call in the grasp, so if You don't gently lay them down behind the line of scrimmage they either pull free , or eventually throw the ball away.

I am going to continue to prefer that they throw the ball beyond the first down marker on 3rd down.

Another uncommon opponent is that extra game against an NFC team they stuck in there to make for a 17th game of the season.
