LC Greenwood is a senior finalist for the hall of fame

The Hall of Fame is a sham and the proof is LC Greenwood is not in there already.

 

Yup. It's clear he is being penalized because there are already so many of his teammates from the '70s in the Hall of Fame.

 

If he doesn't get in this time, is it fair just to say he isn't getting in ever?!


At some point in time, the Pro Football HOF needs to get over themselves about players from specific eras. The HOF should be reserved for those who have been dominant for a tremendous length of time.


L.C. qualifies and did so during the time he was on the ballot. It is asinine to the point of morbid comedy he isn't in. Same goes for Kenny Anderson.

Greenwood and Anderson are no brainers for the HOF. Roger Craig is close, but not HOF IMO.

 

I thought same thing and as much as it pains me to say this, he is not getting in

 

GREENWOOD -deserves it

 

The equipment manager painted his shoes gold so he could be distinguished from Mean Joe. Many times Joe got credit for LC's tackles which was a time before modern stats.

LC = Legend 100%

 

Chuck Noll's first draft was pretty good one. Mean Joe, LC, Jon Kolb, Hanratty and Warren Bankston.

 

Congrats LC. It took a while but you deserve it!

 

I know I'm not alone when I say it's about damn time! You don't have to be a steelers fan to know he should have been in decades ago. Another unsung heroes that deserves to be in the HoF is Ernie Holmes. If Dan Hampton can get then every member of the original steel curtain should be in.

 

Don't discredit Dan Hampton too much.


He may have been a First Team All Pro once. That said, he was ass whoop city during the 80s. One of the best DTs of his Era no question.

 

Am I the only one who remembers that LC signed with the WFL, and only ended up back with the Steelers when the league folded?
Maybe that delayed his entry to the HOF, which is certainly deserved.

 

I do remember. I think more likely is that he has been caught in the backlog of other deserving defensive lineman, and I fear, might be why he doesn't make the vote.

Somewhere in my files I have a great photo of Jimmy Allen and LC.

 

Cincinnati talk radio was talking about Ken Anderson being inducted into the HOF and then mentioned how LC Greenwood should have been inducted while he was still alive. Crazy how many other casual fans see this but the committee has ignored it forever.

 

LCshould have been in.
