I think we need to remember that just because two people share the same last name doesn't mean they are anything alike, or will both do the same good things.
Keeping the same coach in place forever is no more a recipe for success then changing them out every few years.
If something doesn't work, you should absolutely make a change. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is crazy.

 

Then expect 2.5 seasons worth of Fire Tomlin chants and about a seasons worth of Sell the Team chants. Tomlin and Art will have to own the disaster if it continues as is.

Again, if what Josina Anderson reported a couple days ago is referring to Tomlin about a Long Standing Coach who will be leaving, that'd be the only way Tomlin is jettisoned. I truly do hope that AR II decides that enough is enough but I am just not convinced that he will.

I am hoping Tomlin quits at the end of the season. Takes a few years off, then comes back to a new team and the Steelers end up with a few extra draft picks that year; because the Steelers still own his contract.
