Funny how the fans care more about the loss than the players. Same player / coach speak every week. Take their paycheck away see what happens. Lol

first order of business for me is to just get rid of rodgers. i dont want to see him at QB rest of season. i only partially dealt with him due to hope we could make some run.

but seeing how bad this team is, i would rather not have someone i don't like at the QB, let mason have it for the rest of the year.

edit: forgot to finish, next thing is get rid of tomlin and everybody else. :)

I'm not sure that Rooney can avoid getting rid of Tomlin. Certainly he can, but there is going to be MASSIVE fan unrest if we stick with Tomlin and things continue to go the way they're going. Plus, if we go into the season next year with new coordinators again and Tomlin... then I fear we could make desperate moves in the draft. Things like trading our future for a QB to try to save Tomlin's job... We just need to rebuild. Offer the job to a talented young guy that we will allow the leeway of multiple seasons to build the team the right way.

The sad thing is to see the identity of the team falter. We're just not who we used to be. We're a team that lacks high end voices in the locker room. We lack a winning culture. That is who I want running the ship next. Someone that can build a winning culture with the X's and O's credentials in the modern game.

Until we find a pass game our team is in trouble.

All we got is Washington, who was supposed to be a #3 TE. The guy is a gimmick…a huge TE with average hands.

They need to find a few pass plays that they can complete in their sleep.

Are they running any comeback routes to DK? Back shoulder passes?

Can’t Muth do something like Heath Miller where he runs out 7 yards and finds an open zone to sit in?

Do they ever run the trips bunch formation anymore? Bubble screens?

Rodgers is either not seeing the field anymore in his old age or nobody is open? I would like the answer to that question from the coaches, because Rodgers looks like he is washed. All the magic that made him great seems gone.

Our best WR right now is actually a RB (Gainwell) … how sad is that?

Can we get Marquez into the lineup?

How can Rodgers say that though? I read that Rodgers hardly took any practice snaps this week due to his injury?

He also took his good ol time signing with the team so he hardly had time to gel with the team in preseason.

That was also my beef with Ben and his veteran days off…we needs guys who rep the practice snaps until it is second hand nature.

i hate to say it, but i might be at the point where i hope we lose the rest of the season. only reason being would be cause some sort of change.

i'm over this gorundhogs day scenario with this non loosing season scenario. hell for all i know Rooney is not wanting to mess with his streak.

so that might be the kick in the pants needed to have some change round these parts.

I think you're right. Dead last in the league with the most defensive snaps, and not quite dead last in offensive snaps. Big change from last year when they were middle of the pack on offense and best in the league in defensive snaps.

The defense has basically played an extra game and a half of snaps at this point vs last year, and they are not young. The defensive collapse is going to be harder than ever.

Team had no identity because Tomlin has no identity! Renegade needs to go it's lost it's meaning and it's just embarrassing that the Steelers of recent can not connect!

This isnt accounting for the fact that Baltimore is up at bat next week either. Lamar doesnt look like himself but Derrick Henry is still very capable of battering Defenses to dust. He did so against Pittsburgh last time. Having Derrick Harmon back would aid a great deal.

If Harmon misses another game?! Pittsburgh may give up back to back 200+ yard games.

He had a big play to win the Dolphins game yesterday. The Saints were going for 2 to tie the game and Minkah picked off Shough and ran the ball back 100 yards for 2 points. That 4 point swing was the difference in the game.

I had this conversation after the game. This is the second best way the season could have gone. The best way is that miraculously everything clicked and the team contends, but that was always a very low chance.

Remember when Canada was fired? Everyone said that we have to hope it happens at the end of the season. It got so embarassing, and the chants were heard at Pens games that the FO was so embarrassed that the move had to be made. I don't think it happens mid-season, but after this humiliation of a season, the FO has to take notice. All the voices that have been muffled over the years have grown louder and louder until now it's a roar. I think this is where if anything could happen, the time is now. Off-season the team sits with Coach T and tells him it's time to move on but not going to fire him. Give him the choice between seeking a trade and moving on as his choice. I know that ARII doesn't want to pay someone not to work, but he might even hate the mockery being chanted in his stadium even more.

Maybe the best thing to come from Aaron Rodgers playing here will be if he adds another notch to his belt on coaches that have been fired.

    Let’s hope Tomlin is #4

About dang time. Now stop showing up to the games to get Rooney's attention since apparently being a running joke for a decade doesn't (he keeps extending him).

I saw twice in the game, TJ Watt got run out of the play and if he had just husted back maybe 5 to 10 yards he could have at least stopped them before they actually got brought down.

I got to question his heart and conditioning to not try and go make the tackle.

Seriously, go watch the tape…he isn’t running guys down like he used to.

He looks slower, walks around like he took a crap in his pants.

That's the coaches job to make sure they have good practices and all are on the same page come game time.
